Lampard has just found out that any of our players that have been ‘injured’ this year actually weren’t. All because they fell out with Robins and refused to play.

Doug had said it’s bollox but Lampard has quite rightly referenced various credible SBT posters. Now questioning the culture around the club.

More to follow…

If it is Lampard then it's going to take a while especially if he is bringing any of his old coaches with him. May not cost the world to get Frank especially as he is getting an opportunity here but I'd imagine the likes of Morris or Clement wouldn't come cheap.

Like many fans when FL’s name was first mentioned i was under whelmed.

So I watched various interviews with him, probably 3 hours in total, specifically on his coaching philosophy, lessons learnt from previous roles, etc and it made me much more excited about his potential.

I then listened to proven football pundits also talking positively about him as a man, coach, and his potential.

Now I’ll disappointed if it’s not him. He‘s not risk free but no manager is.

How many of those pundits talk a brilliant game but end up being really shit managers? Shearer, Keane and near the end of his career where modern coaching left him behind Martin O'Neill.
I'll give Lampard a chance but I had hoped for a left field choice that hasn't been mentioned.

Managers under contract don’t come to be part of a short list … they only come for an interview if they are nailed on for the job. If they are unsuccessful in the interview they have also burnt their bridges at their existing club

He’s just another wanna be ITK - easy to chuck enough shit and when some sticks claim you “knew”. Lampard story such easy narrative to pedal.

it may be him, but sounds like actually we are being quite thorough.

To be honest warming to Eustace a bit after reading about him at other clubs but think it’s Lampard.

While the daily mail mentioned Eustace at the start, surley we would of heard more regarding a release clause

I’ll be honest why go from MR > JE , that’s just crazy. Whilst don’t want Lampard you can see elements he may bring (albeit huge risk)

just hope whoever it is - we’ve done a detailed process as they have got one hell of act to follow.
