So why desperately try to undermine the figure?

If I said that really, it looked like there were more there than the announced attendance, would my view be given weight?

My favourite one was after 2,200 went to the Bristol game someone on here stated that they knew for a fact that Sisu had been going around schools in Northampton giving out free tickets. Quite a few lapped it up until someone pointed out that the schools were still on holiday.

It matters not- 2000, 2300, 1900.... its levelled at circa that figure for now....and even the most optimistic must realise that come a Tuesday in Feb likely to dip.... if Tim hasnt got the message by now, I doubt he ever will. Arguing the toss about a couple of hundred here or there.. free tickets or otherwise is futile in my opinion- we shouldnt be there.
