He has 3 minutes....
Everybody knows he needs three weeks ffs
Seems a bit pointless....

Not sure if its just the way the CT are covering it but this is seeming a bit of a box ticking exercise.
Planning committee will now discuss the plans.
Coun McNicholas says councillors on planning committee “know and understand issues relevant to the city of Coventry”.
He says “We are not participants in a plan to eradicate, destroy or cripple CCFC.”
FFS Most people can see that Sisu have never wanted to invest in the club.
If CCC and then 'unfortunately' Wasps had not stepped in Sisu would have acquired the 'white elephant stadium' for a pittance eventually and unencumbered. If it was free they would have taken it.
If they win the JR they 'will' take millions out the club. They have tied the club up with shares that will mean any eventual JR money will flow straight out to them.
They are not the whiter than white business you continue to defend by deflection.

Oh look, there's a flying pig.

I'm sure sisu distancing the club from the legal side would also mean that any damages won by sisu wouldn't even be seen by the club and be straight in sisu coffers and we would prob still owe them millions
The application has been approved unanimously.
Tim Fisher has asked if they can leave the meeting and the CCFC group has made a swift exit.

You reckon? It was never intended in being anything else. It's a sham.

on to JR 3 then ?
Just seen caveat on the approval - it is subject to Sec of State not wishing to intervene and the resolution of the concerns of Sport England over future use. So there is some hope that academy could continue - no thanks to CCC. Club need to get Sport England on side and get some clarity over HIggs centre future plans etc now and secure future for academy, maybe a meeting of CSF, Wasps, CCFC and Sport England? .
Agreed, they've not followed the due process, sport England haven't been consulted on it, you also got the green belt issue.. Bunch of corrupt cuntsWhat a load of bollocks.

From what I've read he's not said dot about planning regs and concentrated on playing the victim. He might as well stamped it approved himself.
Because he's not a planning lawyer, he was making the case as CCFC about the loss of its academy's home. Not as a planning consultant concerned with green belt issues etc. That will probably come later and clearly needs more than 3 minutes to explain.

Not sure the Sec of State will call it in when it is based round existing facilities and existing sports usage.
Have a feeling Sports England will suddenly come onside with CSF (who have regular contact in course of their business). CSF will make the case that its existing use and increases community usage, that they have tried to talk with CCFC but they refused. Very little that FA or FL can can do to make CSF provide facilities.
I think this process has been well thought out and potential loop holes plugged before they get exploited
Worrying
