And I would presume then that Reeves would make a statement to the contrary. If not....

Who is we? The administrator? Fisher? Seppalla?

Who made this statement?
They are all one of the same. So now the Administrator is controlling Holdings interests, after all he was instructed by Ms Seppala. Strange how Paul Appleton is making joint statements on a legal entity he has no legal control over, could it be the process is a little one sided? All the facts are in front of him, perhaps he got a "U" in his GCSE

does he (reeves) have to reply to the club when the person in control of the lease on the other side of things to ACL is the administrator?

Also there is no point writing to him as councillor when the dispute was between ACL and CCFC Ltd. In fact the proper response/request should have been to the Board of ACL

Indeed. Odd statement, which just shows they don't know what they are doing.

ACL made it perfectly clear they will no longer negotiate with SISU.

CCC know SISU will not help re-develop the Ricoh land either. But they do know Haskell will.

The issue with the Higgs Centre today is all to do with ACL/Higgs/CCC killing off SISU by not dealing with them.

I think everyone should bear in mind that SISU have engaged a high powered PR agency called Pitch to deal with their PR and media releases. So there is some strategy behind their statements

Similarly the administrator releases statements through Paul McCarthy - ex of News of World and does stuff on Sky.

We would do well to appreciate the effect such high powered PR will have on the situation...... it will certainly influence it or at least the general publics perception of things.

keep saying things enough times, become seen as being reasonable and people will start to believe...... the public memory is generally not great unless they are reminded

When did this happen OSB?

I'd have thought Martin Reeves /ACL can give a fairly straightforward reply, something akin to:

The time for a negotiated settlement has passed, hence ACLs application to place the club in administration.

Following the withdrawal of this application, ACL stated that they were awaiting the report from the administrator, which is due in May, to clarify ownership of the football clubs assets, including the Football League share. This should allow us to understand what constitutes Coventry City Football Club.

Once this report has been completed and clarification on these matters received, ACL will indeed look to review the tenancy agreements with whoever is deemed to legally own the club.

I think I'm with OSB on this. It's a PR stunt in part designed to draw attention away from the fact that SISU have abandoned the appeal against admin. In effect admitting that the golden share was never in Holdings, imho.

Also, by naming an individual Council officer rather than the board of ACL, it's another attempt to spin the failure to come to an agreement on the rent as being down to the Council.

The Council have already replied to this, and said it's down to ACL to negotiate.

Given it's in the hands of the Administrator, that ACL clearly don't trust SISU, and there seems to be serious interest from elsewhere, I'd imagine they'd disregard this request entirely.

As I see it CCFC Ltd still exist, (under control of the administrator), and as confirmed by the administrator himself, the lease is an asset of CCFC Ltd.

How therefore, can ACL go offering a lease to a different company?

In my opinion there's more than a hint of desperation in this kind of blatant attempt at spin from.......Fisher? (is he still there?)........Seppala?.......the Pitch PR Agency?

Do WE really care who it's from? I believe that what matters most now is how the Administrator carries out his duties.

"We are debt free"

"SISU have pledged to finance the club for the next 3 years"

etc etc

SISU have said so much stuff, so often, that even we as fans are now calling the club "CCFC Holdings"

They have turned this club into a complete laughing stock. Appeal, dont appeal, not going into administration, we have been put in administration by SISU etc etc

I didnt find out the Brentford score until 6pm on Saturday. Usually I would be more than keen to find out the HT score of an Under 21 match f I wasnt there, never mind a 1st team match

They are killing this club and the sooner they go the better !

Aren't ACL using Weber Shandwick who specialise in crisis management and reputation management? They were definitely using them at one point but I'm not sure if that's an ongoing arrangement or was something short term.

It's getting like a plot in Dallas. Will the dastardly JR Ewing out flank Cliff Barnes yet again?
Barnes may be a little gullible and naïve but I'm sensing he has the all powerful JR a little rattled finally.
Will Barnes's backers be able to snatch Ewing Oil and throw JR out? Or has JR still got a few things up his sleeve?

I see it's Thursday so a new episode must be due...
