That second goal was a total embarrassment. You'd be pissed off to concede it at non league level let alone championship

I left shortly after that goal in disgust. It was outside of the box, he had to go for the ball (or more) even if he fouls him. Thomas probably could’ve done a bit better but at least ushered him in Lati’s path. Seriously, I think this goal is the worst we’ve conceded this season for a purely defensive perspective. That’s saying something.

Lati is a decent RB or CB in a back 3, he isn’t great in a back 4 and that’s evidenced by 5 CS in 30-35 games playing CB for us.

Lati is a DM for me.
He played there for us at Leeds (a) last season, and Sunderland this season. We didn't lose either.
Jamaica play him at DM - Regular starter.

Absolutely not a CB in a 4 man defence (or RB). At best, a 3rd Centre Back in a back 5 if needed.

Postionally, he's sound. Tackles well and organises. He needs to be deployed in that Makalele role for us.
Sheaf / Torp / Rudoni as the more attack minded CMs. Eccles can cover all those positions and RB / RWB.

He's played around 150 first team games for us, Swansea and FC Twente and has played DM just 5 times, all for us. He plays there for Jamaica as they have a dearth of quality in their squad.
