I am inclined to agree with some of the other posters on the forum re: Le Fondre.

Sky sports are only reporting Sheff Wed's interest. Which according to the above link is in the form of a second bid for £250k.

Is Rotherhams Chairman, just name dropping Cov to encourage a bidding war??

If we do end up making one of our "rumoured signings", I can't help but feel by thur/fri, their inclusion in the Saturday team my be a gamble as they will have had very little time to adapt to our style of play.

I rate McFadden, but can't see him working well with Juke, as Juke needs a box player. So fingers crossed it is Le Fondre.

I still wish that we had secured the loan deal for Pacheco...

I agree he is unproved at this level like Eastwood was, but I think he would be the most prolific of all our forwards if he came

I think it would be a good signing if we could keep Juke and also get McFadden. ALF would get plenty of chances with the way AT likes us to play. McFadden running at the defence from the left or waiting over on the left. It would be like playing with 3 strikers. There are a fair few teams in the championship that are not much better than league 1 teams, just the same there are a fair few teams in league 1 that are on a par with league 2 teams. He would be against better players, but not that much better half of the time. Give a goalscorer a few chances and he will score.
