only seen training videos, made some good saves, seems atletic.

i dont love joe murphy like most ccfc fans( i mean i do love him but i dont rate him as highly)

i know he is a great L1 keeper but i am spoilt on likes of oggy hedman and westwood, i know we have fallen since then but i just cant find myself getting behind anyone of lesser quality,i am sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!

so yeh, what i am saying is whoever starts as our number 1 keeper this coming season wont matter too much to me.

He had a great spell at the boro and got loads of rave reviews, I think we must assume Murphy is on his way.

I've never seen him play, but if it counts for anything (and it does in my books), he has a great attitude. Especially towards younger fans.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say he is definitely better than Raffaele Nuzzo.

I think Murphy is off. Huddersfield Town is leading the way.

I like Murphy, but I won't be gutted if he goes. From everything I've read it sounds like Burge will be able to hold his own in this league. Just please be better than Scott Shearer! A lot better

Murphy is not the greatest but to think he will not be missed is wishful thinking,, he is one of the better L1 keepers and the only way he will not be missed if he is replaced by better...That question is up for debate but will not be the last position where academy kids will have to prove himself quickly and unfairly in my opinion..This will be the norm and it will go one or two ways, but over a long season it catches up just like signing loans who have no vested interest in the club...

Saw him ever week for the u18s a couple of year ago and he was always quality.. Only down as 180cm on the stats websites though- abit on the small side for a keeper

he had a very good spell with Nuneaton. Pretty much kept them in the Conference with some fine performances. But obviously that is 2 leagues below.

Appears he has a good attitude and could become a good asset. Just think this season will be one too early...

Burge for Murphy??? If anyone sees this as a positive step or accepts it as though nothing changes, needs to get those spectacles looked at. I disagree that it was just the goals that kept us up last year, from what I heard on radio etc there were some games we should of got a good seeing to if it werent for Murph in goal and I dont see Lee Burge having the same presence im afraid, very much a weak link whereby we can least afford it.

Again the papers are full of the Wilson rumours but I think CCFC need to do all they can to keep Murphy unless of course they can maybe get Westwood back on loan for 1 season:claping hands:, heres hoping.

Just remember you never win anything with youngsters;)

I wouldn't worry about it, Nick. He's been lined up for a summer move to <insert team name here> anyway.

Has anybody seen him play? Is he actually any good?
