Just watched the interview on offical website with Gary Gardner......sounds as if Carsley played a big part in him joining us.

yeah he said in the full interview on the player that he's a family friend from his time at blues with his brother and he lives round the corner from them.

Sounds as if he was quite keen to stay living at home aswell.

I've said for a few seasons we should try and get some loan players off villa, as they can stay in the area etc.....wouldn't mind delfonso for a few months either.......

Delfonso would be a good signing. One of our ex pro's, cant think who but he's regularly on CWR, rates him highly and thinks he'd love playing at this level

Delfonso is superb. I saw him play for Villa youth 3 years ago in Hong Kong and you could see even then that he was going to be a future star.

A bit harsh on Benno mate. He speaks like a fan who despite not originally being from the area appears to have Sky Blue blood running through his veins. He may not be the brightest, but that could be levelled at a large proportion of our support including many on here and is certainly no crime. It must also be hard for him having to pass judgement and remain positive, whilst watching players who are not fit to have laced his boots.
