Leeds away - £45 (1 Viewer)

Ah so Leeds feel hurt because they are in every clubs Cat A band. Can't blame championship teams for trying to maximise profits where they can. £37 is shit but £45 is criminal

it’s not a perfect deal I get that but can’t see a lot wrong with £30 for both sets of away fans. If cov fans want to go then it’s £7 more. Price of a pint ffs.

All seems silly tbh but doesn’t shock me

I know nobody is forcing anybody to take up the retail voucher but if you really want to then essentially an adult ticket for Leeds will knock you back £90. It’s unreasonable from them and weak form of greed from us.

Would be interesting to know Leeds catering deal and how much it would hit them if we boycotted buying food and drink etc

People aren't going to boycott it so we need to do some form of protest and not just against Leeds but ticket prices in general.

Why not drop it to a Cat C or whatever so we only charge home fans the same?

Because Doug wants to profit from a 28k attendance.

Others have done the same. Blackburn and QPR decided not to agree a deal to profit from a sold out away end.

Many are seemingly deadly allergic to not buying stuff in the ground.

We're using the excuse of we can't drop it because of home fans. That's bollocks. 5 months out I bet we've hardly sold any. Most have season tickets so the reduction will be fek all. Could've easily made our home game cat B and then we'd be the same. For those saying not much diff, we have 3 to pay for plus 3 lots of travel. It's about time everyone stopped blowing smoke up Dougs arse and told him about football. I've already read on here about lots of ST not renewing and I think he's in for a shock.

Fine for those that use the coaches but hardly fair on the majority who don’t.

At least you'd have an option. It's a lot better than a voucher few will use. To have to spend £60 is a disgrace

We can kick and scream but it’s one of those bullshit things that we won’t change or even muster half the momentum for clubs to take note. 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely disgraceful. Makes your blood boil. These Pri@ks still think they are a PL side. Just hope our fans who can afford the prices turn out in numbers and get behind the boys. And come away with a result.

They still think they’ve got Viduka banging them in in the UCL

Oh definitely, we all know that's the reason.

He/they can shove their worthless voucher up their arse. Minimum spend 60, if it was 50 (shirt price). It wouldn't be so bad.

Instead you have to buy some random shit you don't want from the shop to make up that tenner.

Don't pretend like you're doing us a favour when you've set the vouchers up to make more money off us.

I'm not going at that price. Especially so close to Christmas. We're doing Ipswich on Saturday, so that will do us.

Not sure the voucher thing is any compensation at all if the minimum spend is £60. Ridiculous.

When this sort of nonsense arises then perhaps some of our fans should have more sympathy for our own fans being asked to pay £37 for a home game against Stoke.

Definitely wouldn't be anyone complaining on here if the club announced Leeds fans were going to be charged less than our own fans.

This is part of the issue. Cov fans will moan about anything.

If we had 3000 tickets at £30 at Leeds and then gave them 3000 at £30 it would be fair all-round.

It’s not an option for the many of us who don’t live in Coventry. Vouchers are fine as a gesture (as long as they are valid for a decent length of time) and are fair to everyone.

The voucher isn't really fair.

It's exactly the same shite offer from the club as last year when they gave us all a fiver.

How many of the 2000 in that away end were planning to spend £60?

Whilst I agree to some extent, our season tickets are good value and we've paid mid 30s at Bristol, QPR and Ipswich with Wednesday still to come. For the casual fan, it's expensive, but if it's not something you do regularly then no different to music or theatre etc for the regular fans it's a piss take

Especially when we've already bought all 3 shirts each so would be spending on random shite we don't need.

So charge home fans £20 when we charge £37 for Stoke so away ccfc fans get a cheaper deal and we lose revenue?

i don’t see how we are being greedy at all

Because we are one of only a few clubs in the league deciding to not take up the reciprocal deal. The point of the Leeds offer is to help their own fans away from home, hence why other clubs have charged Leeds less than their own home fans.

The clubs who haven't took up the deal are Blackburn (profiting off 8000 away fans) and QPR (notorious for charging mega bucks).

The only ccfc fans who don’t benefit are the away fans - yes?
