Logically, we’ll struggle but think we’ll somehow pick up a point or 3 this weekend. Either way, it’ll be an early start and on the sauce early doors and I’m looking forward to it!

You know, I for whatever the reason believe the same that we’ll get something here. Don’t know why and probably will be twice depressed on Saturday for it but feel Robins will pull a rabbit out of his hat and get something here ( Feel supporting city gives me Bi-polar 🤣)

That'll be the new coaching philosophy from now on I should think
Not sure.

I think they'd be on board with stopping the 'terrible defending' but our transfer policy doesn't bode well for 'not winning anything with kids'

9-7 to us, a treble hat trick for Godden.
I actually played in a game that we lost 9-7 in the Leamington Sunday league. Our opponents (Stockton) were already champions, and had been on the lash the night before. Our 'goalkeeper' was a lovely lad who looked like Catweazle, and had stood in for a couple of games. For one goal, he stood in the area, waving his arms around, arguing with his own defenders, while the ball was still bouncing around in our box - they then scored. Most hilarious bit of goalkeeping I've seen in my many years of playing/watching.

Just seen Jamie’s out for three months. Bens been training at week so assuming he’s good to go. Leave us with four CMs including Jack.

While this is not the side to do it against wonder if a 4-4-2 would help us at the moment so we could replace both cms?

We played 442 for part of the game against Norwich, we were awful and hopelessly out numbered in midfield.

Assuming Sheaf is good to start, I’d go with
Dovin
MVE Thomas Kitching Bidwell
Eccles Sheaf Rudoni
Sakamoto Wright
Simms

Is he ready?, I haven’t seen much of him but it’s a huge ask to start in the championship away at Leeds. Would punt Robins plays Joel as a DM before Kai starts.
Yeah just a whim of mine, suspect Sheaf will be missing at least for half of it, it's a free hit on current form?

I know what you mean about the free hit wingy, but it’s frustrating we’re having to talk like this after spending 45 million. Poor recruitment again is costing us.

I'd be extremely surprised if Sheaf starts. He'll be a 60 min sub I suspect.
Lati will go midfield...

The fantasy was we buy a shed load of strikers and go and attack every game and crush a good few.
Then you wake up and realise it's Cov...

Get why you say but I disagree. If you want to compete at the top (top 6) you have to go into every game believing you can get the points.

If we’re 2-0 down at the 80th put him on but don’t put him on just because we on odds shouldn’t win there.

What’s your point?
You're saying we have spent £45m so shouldn't be expecting a defeat to Leeds, so I am pointing out that their squad will have cost a lot more, so maybe we should? By the way, I am not a defeatist - just making an observation! (I'll be at Elland Road losing my voice, regardless)

Leeds finished 3rd last year and we finished 9th. After a year of 'gelling' and quite a few additions we should have some confidence of competing. I hope we don't go silly defensive.

I didn’t say we shouldn’t be expecting a defeat to Leeds, however we shouldn’t be in this position where we have one win in 6 and our confidence is lower than a snakes belly after spending what we have.

After hearing Leeds fans on social media, they seem to think they’ll struggle to score tomorrow, so I think we might get a good result.

To do anything this season, there’s gotta be an ounce of swagger going into games now.
