I’m sorry but this is so true.

I find it very difficult to like Lati, Kitching, Dasilva, Thomas, Allen, EMC, Simms…. I could go on.

The play off season was a fluke, we actually somehow got clean sheets that season. Now we have no idea. BUT that season I liked our players, even when we lost…

Today was so bad, the worst I’ve seen in years and I’m old enough to have seen a lot.

But I’m sorry but it’s all predictable, the summer was a shit show and the gaps in the team show more than ever.

That is on Doug and/or Robins.

You’re saying the playoff final season was a fluke? Over 46 games?

Genuine question then. I really like Robins. I want him to be the hero.

How do you see us getting out of this and challenging for promotion this season?

Why do you think we should be challenging for promotion?

Yes, of course, it should be an ambition but there are a dozen sides in the Championship with equal and genuine claims to be challengers also.

We are a top ten side. Eventually

no it doesn't, the only games that matter are the 7 this year so far

Last season we had squad that by the end was running on fumes

if we are like this in 10 games time then we can revisit but after 7 games is far too earlier
what have we done to address this? The squad is no bigger and our midfield is weaker. Our back four was not improved either

I’d say look at the performance at Leeds away last year. Leeds had a stronger side back then, yet we ground out a point.

Leeds are still good and will be challenging again this year.

We, on the other hand, on the odd occasion show what we can do.. but the rest of the time, we’re shockingly bad. Even worse for me.. have no fight and seem clueless.
We did but leess should have won the game in the 95th .. alas they missed the sitter . We had a bit of luck which so far this season we're not getting

I really hate this logic. Fans always seem to ‘like’ their teams when they win.

Half the clubs in the league will think they should be promotion contenders.

Did half the clubs in the league sell shitloads of season tickets on the basis that it was a realistic target?

Id say £45 million spent probably says we should be

'Premier league packages'

'Dream big, Aim High, Play up'

I could carry on
..

Promotion

You know, the thing the club has stated is the aim by 2028?

I'm happy to give robins the time because we've not had a single bad season during his tenure

I'm willing to give him more time too, but how much of that is based on sentiment? There are many clubs in the this league, of a similar stature, where he'd be packing his bags, because club owners don't tend to be sentimental types. Next two games are vital for him you feel. He has a lot of credit in the bank, but that counts for nothing in the here and now. King will be getting twitchy.

Maybe fans shouldn't be so thick as to buy based off owners saying they want promotion and should support the club anyway

Why?

Because the club have sold season tickets on the basis that we’ll be a PL club by 2028

No he gets respect off most sane minded supporters that's all

Is it respect to put at as the figurehead for this garbage?

I feel like the respectful thing to do would be get Doug’s man in and let him stand on his own two feet.

And if we sacked managers with the frequency of say Stoke, we'd use up half our budget for the next 5 years paying them off.

well I respectfully disagree.

the best times Robins has had was when he had no involvement and interference from above. The biggest crisis he’s faced is when he has loads of involvement and interference from above.
The best times Robins has had is with Adi as his number two.

Think it’s looking more and more like a Brian Clough, Peter Taylor situation imo.

Lawrence's last game...

We were around the relegation zone at the start of November last year with the constantly mentioned Adi, Lawrence, Kelly and McFadzean...

I'm usually an optimist but getting a little worried now, the downfall from last season just isn't going away, this team doesn't know how to win anything if things aren't going our way. No grit, no leadership, no confidence. Hopefully things change fast.

So the club should raise money by saying we don’t stand a chance.

Anyone selling a product is going to big it up.

Even Dr Pepper do it

So it was a con then?

Fundamentally we sold our quality players and have bought in quantity on a hope and prayer.
That isn't working out.
The likes of MVE and Wright probably want out, those dropped are carrying bitterness.
Confidence in the coaching team is no doubt low.
Not sure how things radically improve at this point.
Which usually means the manager goes.
