Would you want the club to sign a long term deal at the Ricoh including the Higgs. That the club were happy with. If by signing the deal the had to drop all legal action.
(Can't fit all the question the poll)

Didn't get the answer you wanted first time round, so trying again? The council will be proud! Keep it up Dongo!

Yes apparently people didn't understand my question and were not choosing legal action over securing the future of the club.
They were merely saying Wasps shouldn't be involved.
However they are and they are saying no deal can be concluded until the legal action has concluded.
So I am saying call their bluff, offer to get round the table for both academy and Ricoh. If a deal is reached agree to drop the legal action when we sign it.
We will see two things are Wasps bluffing and don't really want us.
Are SISU prepared to drop the legal action to save the club and academy

Can't see anyone answering no to that. The club is the priority so if there is a deal that secures the Ricoh and Higgs, which works for the club unlike the old deal, then I wouldn't really care what it meant SISU or any other third party having to agree that.

Saying that I do have a problem in general with someone trying to prevent the legal process run its course but in our situation I'd happily put those concerns to one side.

When the club is about to ripped out of the City by a bunch of franchise tossers we really need some idiot making threads like this.

Subtle difference but at the moment they are refused to even engage in talks. With what you are proposing they would need to fire up talks again to come to be able to agree a deal and at that point legal action would be dropped.

There's no way SISU are going to drop legal action just to have talks that might not lead to anything.

Agree to all of that.
Hope tou are correct Dave Grendel asked for this thread as he felt dropping the legal action in exchange for a suitable long term deal wasn't the way to go.

No way SISU will however if they approach Wasps and say at the point of signing a long term deal we will drop all legal action. Then that is more than reasonable if Wasps refuse that, then we really know where we stand.
I don't think SISU would offer that I have a horrible feeling they value the legal action and believe it to be realistic and the only way out of this whole situation.
Which if that's the case that is very bad for the future of CCFC.

No I just know that legal action isn't a factor and they want the club to sign a deal which is totally unrealistic and until they do they don't want to talk to them.

Keep doing their job on here for them though - I'm sure you will be well rewarded.

The legal action is a red herring.

Wasps need to get round the table and negotatiote first, then sisu can decided whether it wants to drop the JR and sign said deal.

If it's a red herring smoke them out.
Over to drop the legal action at point of signing if we are happy with the deal.
They are the ones saying it is an issue.
Let's see if it really is

What did Seppala, Anderson and Armstrong say in response to your email?

I think it's human nature not to want to deal with people who are threatening legal action against you. Put it this way - I own a rental property and if my tenant was threatening to sue me, I would issue a Section 21 notice for them to quit at the end of their tenancy term. Irrespective of the rights or wrongs of the case, it would go to the heart of the agreement and mean I would no longer want them there.

You couldn't evict them for threatening to sue though could you? Legally I mean? They would have had to stop paying rent? Or along them lines? They would need to have broken terms of the tenancy.

Expose them with what?

They'd drop I then wasps will offer the deal they've already offered - tell you and the likes of you it was a great deal - you'll swallow their bullshit and do another poll.

I didn't email them in the end, too pissed off about the academy that the Ricoh deal to me is not as important at this present time.

They haven't mentioned legal action as an issue for discussing the academy. Wasps and CSF need to outline exactly what they can offer.

So we negotiate a deal
As we sign it we drop the legal action. After this you think they cancel that deal and whip out another one?
Is that what you are trying to say????

I'm saying the club have been offered a deal. They have been told to not bother coming back unless they agree it.

I can serve the notice for them to quit at the end of their tenancy, usually 6 months or a year, giving 2 months notice. There does not have to be a reason at all for a S21. It often occurs when an owner sells a property, for instance, and the buyer wants vacant possession. That's what happened when I bought it in January.

Whilst Wasps conveniently use the legal action as a smokescreen? Which in turn benefits their planning application with the council?

Well either the legal cases are an issue, in which case why are Wasps worried about them, or they are not an issue, in which case wby are Wasps using them as an excuse?

Also when the council said drop the legal action and we will talk. Lots of people said well they must be worried about it then.
I don't think they were especially when you see the way it turned out. It is just a big hassle initially expensive and in no way conducive to having good negotiations.
The council run everything by legal eagles before doing these deals. Especially the Wasps one in the circumstances.

It would make the club bad to say Wasps have offered them a take it or leave it ultimatum deal?

Wasps would then say that's not the case and that the clubs stance was unreasonable.

You'd then do a poll asking if the club should drop it's 17 points do we can secure a 25 year deal at the Ricoh.

Yes sorry I am please explain why the club would tell us Wasos have said here's the deal take it or leave it.
Instead both Wasps and the Club have said negotiations didn't get to the point if a final deal.
