That has to be the ultimate statement of irony from the man who used to kiss the sisu arse every day.

Are you so insecure in all aspects of your life that you have to go with popular opinion rather than form your own views?

When are you giving up supporting the club? Remind me or do we all need to vote on it so you can make a decision?

Ah the old "I may be wrong, but as least I'm original" defence.

Hey Grendel, everyone's breathing in and out these days, you wouldn't want to be insecure and do the same would you?

In all honesty people should just chill out and not bite. RFC is a certain sandle wearing poster from Bentleys Roof I do believe and Grendel plays the pantomime villain well and has turned into a parody of himself which seems to do the trick with some.
But it don't solve owt.

When an actual law has been broken. Not as a tactic, not as a threat, when there are legitimate losses that were foreseen and intentional.

I'd go as far as saying it should be pretty cast iron and significant if it's the club suing a fan. It's the absolute worst thing a club can do IMO, and I thought that when McGinnity did it too. The rogue.

It is crazy really isn't it, as surely they learned from history that McGinnity going that way lost him pretty much any sympathy he had left with the fans, as it just set up an us v them.

Yeah that's the problem. All for a good old fashioned bit of trolling to puncture the pomposity of some of us ;) but now and this subject probably ain't the time to do so!

Although RFC actually, if people thought about it, works better as a unifying tactic against SISU than anything else put up here...

I think that whilst people are correct in all they say to the FL, if the FL ever got tough with the hedge fund, they'd just roll up the club in the form of liquidation. They are completely running insolvently and could at any time claim they have run out of funds to 'support' the club. I think in truth the FL must know this as SISU hold one of their members over a barrel. Like the rest of us I think the authority is hoping against hope a buyer for CCFC comes along soon !

As a SBT member I say keep the link up.

If SISU want to press legal action (For what? Telling the truth?), let them.

Fuck with them as much as is humanly possible.

Very very good point Ashdown.... I think you are correct... SISU have 'em by the short a curlies.....they are exploiting every advantage that they have constructed in this whole sorry mess to ensure all other parties including the fans have a proverbial 'gun to the head' whichever avenue they pursue.
It is clear to me - they are prepared to roll the financial loss dice further into the abyss, including clear increased debts from the ludicrous groundshare at Sixfields, a policy they have elected, to leverage every Machiavellian point. SISU have a clear strategy. Without Freehold ownership of the Ricoh I fear this will end in oblivion.

The irony of the situation is that the club is running with minimum costs so is attractive to any buyer, particularly as the Ricoh is available to use at a reasonable rent and the fan base is still there at the moment..
The downside is that its not worth anything, as the players are the only assets, so SISU will not sell.
It is particularly dire because Sisu also want to retrieve the losses amounted due to their mismanagement and these get worse everyday.

NOPM will not affect this as it is only adding £2M losses a year to the total £60M debt. All of which needs to be recovered by selling "at the top of the cycle".

Totally clueless by SISU but NOPM makes me feel happier.

NOPM is a "story" though that the media can exploit. To that end it keeps the Cov story alive and also expressed in terms that the rest of the the morons can latch on to. It is a far far bigger story than "Rooney's hair" and suchlike but you know how stupid the footballing community is.
Have you ever really analysed what Shearer says ffs?

I see the CT have given the letter to the trust asking for the guardian link removal the publicity they feel it deserves..

NONE WHATSOEVER...

(ps happy to be proved wrong on that, if someone can find a link to the story)

Would you say that if you were on the board and responsible for the link, in other words the names on this legal letter?

It is odd this isn't it? Excuse me if I'm wrong but surely this is quite a big story.

To try to add some balance, maybe they want to see the letter too so they can write a story with the full facts in front of them, if SISU are flinging threats of legal action around I'm sure, like everyone else, they don't want to be on the radar.

Or you might see a four page pull out advertising Sixfields next week in the CT :)

Exactly, surely the cet would need more to go on than somebody saying they have been threatened with legal action?

Actually after this week it is doomed.
I expected us back by xmas but SISU will never come back after conversations transmitted this week.
I couldn't care a flying fcuk about the FA Cup if it means not playing it in Coventry.
As i've said before I'm finished now with live Sisu Utd games.
May reconsider when we become Coventry City again.

You promised us you'd stop supporting the club sometime ago. Why are you still on here boring everyone to death?
