Didn’t mean to imply that at all just thought it’s pretty major news and was hoping somebody on here would have a better insight on what it means than myselfI don't think it's quiet. Is that some implication that this place is gutted sisu lost? Because I think your quite wrong. I hope it's the end and a deal is sorted to stay and Sisu either piss off and give someone else a go or go and build the stadium we need.
I would think that the club will have to move first. Wasps can claim an open door in the absence of court cases having stated it on the record
So If we assume that the leagls are parked for now and given the EFL hearing later this month I think they have to at least go through the motions of trying to stay in the city.
Quite quiet on here considering how big the news is - anybody have any clue at all what happens now??

lolbut hopefully that's the end of it.
Doesn't really matter anyway. There'll be JR3, some other legal angle to go through, or a civil case to come.I think that there is some doubt that JR2 is indeed stone dead. Jr1 was definitively over when things got to this point but for some reason now the Euro courts are being mentioned. So perhaps without clarification from Sisu it's not clear that this particular set of legals is finished.
Apologies if that's the case.Didn’t mean to imply that at all just thought it’s pretty major news and was hoping somebody on here would have a better insight on what it means than myself
Not sure if they could because Wasps are the other half of the transaction..... any judgement against CCC would affect Wasps
well they won’t neither will heWhat a prick licker that smug twat is. I hope that the council do get held accountable and this prick gets his cumuppance.

Tbf I don't think he was saying that.
Significant news today, two lots in fact. Was reported in the Times that playing at St.Andrews had been vetoed by the EFL as being too far significant as i would think it ruled out Walsall, Leicester, Northampton, also, then this no appeal decision from the Supreme Court which imo puts the ball firmly in our owners court. To me negotiating with Wasps to use the Ricoh is the only way forward, staying on the legal route I believe would erode any sympathy there may be from EFL members who have that EGM in nine days time.

That might be wishful thinking on your behalf but according the Times St.Andrews has been rebuffed by the EFL as being too far away.Nowhere is ruled out. It’s purely to tick a box with the EFL to show that the club could do everything it could to find a home in the city but the club has been forced out.
So either wasps concede - which now they may well do - or we go to St Andrews

This could carry on for years.

Be intetesting to see if the Club or SISU comment on this ..
What? That shitty, horrible, soulless bowl that everybody hates?Could we stay at The Ricoh....?
YesIf it is quiet on here I guess that like me people are just bored and sick to death of Sisu/Wasps/Coventry city council and court cases.
Doubt it.That might be wishful thinking on your behalf but according the Times St.Andrews has been rebuffed by the EFL as being too far away.
It was OP on the thread BUTTS. Which reported what was apparently in theTimes, haven’t read it personally myself, don’t read Murdoch gutter press, but quoted what was said. Which was St. Andrews was disqualified due to being too far away. Was that in a later article or something? The short piece in this morning's paper only says "The Times has learnt that the 4,000-capacity Butts Park Arena in the city has emerged as a second ground-share option for Coventry along with Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s".
I most definiely do NOT want us to play in Birmingham, but as far as I can see it hasn't been ruled out.
I've never tweeted the bloke or even mentioned him and he's blocked me!I'm long since blocked by that prick on twitter. Can anyone post a screenshot?
Think its just that the news was expected and everyone just assumes SISU will appeal again.Quite quiet on here considering how big the news is - anybody have any clue at all what happens now??
Nope it’s bollocks and as always you’ll be found wanting in this debate. The EFL is financially bankrupt and even the thought of legal action will terrify them.
The EFL will let the club go anywhere and the members will always stick together as it should be
Is that right?Significant news today, two lots in fact. Bit of an overreaction IMO to start throwing around things like we are finished. Was there actually anyone who thought SISU would win this? And was there anyone who though once they lost they wouldn't try taking it to Europe?Well we imo are at a critical point,?to the outside world legals are over, kicked out by the highest court in the land, Wasps say they are open to negotiate re using the Ricoh. I think if Sepalla continues this legal route and somehow engineers a groundshare that’s us finished. What I would love to see now is our CCC say to our owner, here’s a parcel of land build your ground Joy, she’ll run for the hills.
If we move to another ground after this, when do we get back ? Something I pray the EFL demand an answer to as per rule book. How long do you think our supporters would travel to Brum for to watch us ?
Who doesn’t bother you no mark prick, don’t go every home game now can have unavoidable family commitments, but done over half now plus a number of away, how many do you need to go to to join your club.Oh look, somebody who doesn't bother when we play in Coventry getting worked up. Maybe you can go and watch Cov Utd with Captain Jack?
That might be wishful thinking on your behalf but according the Times St.Andrews has been rebuffed by the EFL as being too far away.
