No because when changes are made it means doing them twice and managing 2 different templates.

I'll be fiddling around with the logo / header later anyway

I think also if you create an alternate theme, you have to replicate any tweaks made to the original theme otherwise the pages might not work correctly?

I think it looks sound ,could make it like a wanted poster for that org that traces absent fathers ,damn can't remember the acronym,but i bet theres a few 20 somethings on here just recognised their dad

Yep, it just makes a lot of extra work when making changes as it is pretty much doubled
