Well we're stuck in between Birmingham and Leicester-so the Birmingham clubs will always hold each other as their biggest rivals, and Leicester will always see their East Midland neighbours as their biggest rivals. As for ourselves, it just depends on who we've been in the same division as for longer-for the past 10 years, that's undoubtedly been Leicester, so more of the recent generation will see them as the number 1 rival. Before that though, ourselves and Villa were top dogs in the W Midlands for years, so the rivalry there was intense both ways-fact is, we've not been in the same league as them for over a decade now, so why they'd still give a toss is beyond me.

I went college in Nuneaton where every Cov and Leicester fan see the other as their main rival. And this wasnt 1 or 2 people. It was about 50.
Been out drinking in Nueaton and Hinckley and been started on when I've said I support Cov.
Watched a bloke even get bottled for shouting baby squad at some lads in the Colly. I've got a great throw haha.

I work in Leicester and I can tell you that they do hate Cov, not as much as they hate Forrest, mind but they do look at us as rivals.
There is a bigger rivalry between us now then the villa, who really don't care much about us if at all.
Suppose it's because we havn't been in the same league for so long.
But it's pretty much only fat balding Cov fans in there 50's who still think Cov - Villa is a big rivalry
That's funny every Cov fan I'm mates with bar one see's Villa as the main rivalry. That's from ages of around 17/18 to guys in their early 50's. Plus I have mates who are Villa fans and I work with a few, all who despise us.
Villa songs about us: Shit on the City (also about birmingham)
We all hate vermin (due to them calling us vermin felchers)
Stand up if you hate felchers etc...
Leicester songs: We forest, we hate Derby, Who the fuck are the Coventry?
Pretty much says it all.

See Villa as the team I hate the most but most of them are a bit apathetic towards Cov, they don't like us, but they don't hold us anywhere near the hatred they have for Blues. I do hate Leicester, they're a bunch of feral rats and their fans really fuck me off. It's all about location, the fans of us in both teams in areas like Nuneaton and Hinckley hate one another. The rest are a bit meh meh to it all. The lads from each teams hate each other greatly and we're often 2nd to them only to Chelsea in that area of things. I speak to more of their lads than normal fans and they fucking hate us big style.
I'll be there along with 10 others in the town early for a few beers. Should be a top top laugh.

I hate Leicester away for the simple reason of the amount of mongs that go and don't even bother looking at the pitch, but I'm not gonna pass up the chance to see us play 20 minutes down the road.

Look back at your previous post where you basically stated that anybody who doesn't agree with your opinion, which would be the majority of our support, was a fat, balding Fifty-something and see if you can spot why, by getting all upset because somebody has disagreed wth you, you have managed to make yourself look completely moronic and childish.

You mean you hate Leicester. Fair enough that's your choice, but I never have a never will. I wish we had a proper natural rival but we don't, and just cause since we've come down and realised we won't be playing villa anytime soon people decided to latch on to Leicester as a rival, Villa is still the big one for most people. And having been to games against Villa and been to games against Leicester I don't need anybody to tell me any info and I think I'm ermm.. clued up enough thanks.

I nevere said that meant I was right or speaking for the majority, it just means that your stereotype about only fat 50 year olds hating villa and the younger fans hating Leicester is obviously totally wrong. My original point was that villa is a much bigger rivalry compared to leicester because we haven't played them in 11 years yet the last time a poll was done on here more people voted for villa as our biggest rival than anybody else. But of course it doesn't represent the majority because most peopleo here are probably just fat, balding 50 year olds.

Having a look back all I can see is me stating that Leicester dislike us, they don't see us as there main rivals but nevertheless they still look at us as rivals.
And the villa rivalry is dying out as new Cov/ villa fans won't get it as we are not ever playing each other.

walsall and notts county closes rivals next season. why worry about teams like villa leicester .when we wont be playing them

I think anyone over about 25 will remember the rivalry we had with Villa in the Premier League (yes, from both sides). I can understand if those under that age don't understand as they were either too young to fully remember or too young to fully understand. I'm guessing you probably fall in that under 25 age bracket.

I do remember our rivaly with them, but for me it's just somthing that has faded and the Leicester one has grown.
But In the prem days I didn't even think about Leicester.

I'm 23 and I have seen us play Villa once, we have played Leicester lots more in the time I have been a Cov fan, hence I dislike them more. I know a lot of them dont care but I do think the internsity of the matches is growing. This game will be my fourth in a row at leicester

Couldn't give a fuck about Leicester, I will be at the game supporting the City like I am every week. Hopefully we will take big followings to all the remaining away games, we need as much support as we can get.
