With the hotel , exhibition hall, casino etc makes it worth more doesn't it?

Depends on what kind of money you are making from the casein and hotel, they probably have long leases and fixed rent so you won't make much from them. The only bit that can generate decent income is the exhibition hall.

In a way the freehold of the Ricoh is pretty worthless, ACL have already paid 50 years rent up front, so no more income except selling land for another 42 years.

To any normal person. But grendull would rather have the local council prop up a hedge fund than get a fair price. So the added value of the casino etc don't count in his eyes.

Can't see how a casino is a community asset.a scourge on society yes.

There are a lot of French towns and cities that provide (amongst other things) first class sporting facilities thanks to the income from municipal casinos. If you are going to contribute to a discussion, then please develop opinions based on something more factual than the turgid nonsense spouted on Twitter.

Which is exactly what we are not talking about.

Remind me what we were talking about oh yes Leicesters stadium, which is all it is a football stadium. When someone points out the Ricoh is more than that then you start on the Casino. Dont bring up your views and not expect to be challenged if someone feels so inclined.

Which my point in the first place. Theirs is just a stadium, the Ricoh has a lot of extra facilities which makes me think that it would be valued at more.

As for the casino , the stadium owners would be only claiming rent for the casino not gambling profits.

If its just a stadium how does it hold weddings, several conferences, has held Thai boxing is in the verge of getting permission to host 12 outdoor concerts a year and has an extensive list if non related football events over the Christmas period including a strictly come dancing event and parties? Are they all on the pitch?

Where did I mention twitter dickhead? Oh and by the way we happen to live in England not France. You could argue that an asset such as a casino works really well in the local community in Nepal.

Fair point, your knowledge of it is obviously better than mine, however from the times I have visited it I can see that it does not have as many facilities as the Ricoh therefore should the Ricoh be valued at more ?

What more facilities does it have? I think they could easily fit a casino in of they wanted.

Also I believe they are hosting the 2015 rugby World Cup. I'm not sure I'm sure MMM will confirm. The Ricoh I believe lost out on it. If this is the case the Leicester arena is clearly more superior so worth more as a sporting arena? No?

You didn't have to mention Twitter. All your posts mark you out as an archetypal TULIP.

I think Leicesters inclusion probably has more to do with them hosting one of the top club sides in world rugby than anything else so, No probably not. Or is gloucecters stadium also worth more. ?

you are right about the rugby world cup. No wonder SISU want to offer 4-6 million instead of 17 mill! I am sure ann lucas is sitting at home cursing the RFU as we speak.

Where has it been said that its £4 to £6 million? Also does Leicester stadium have a debt of £14 million? I believe that sisu did day they would take this off the council if they agreed a purchase price.
