If you're not pro sisu why bite back and respond?
The thing is, their legal position isn't clear.....isn't that the point?
Telling people to piss off because you don't agree with their viewpoint or how they express it? Mature.
Not surprising really, trolling (from both sides of the argument) has really ruined this forum.
Because it pisses me off. Why are you even posting at all if this isn't your club anymore. Like you've said several times?

I'm all for views and debate. It's what this site is for. This is all getting very boring now though. Why are we going round and round in circles with virtually every thread?
We need a new statement to tear to shreds.
GREAT points. SBDaz you can't seriously believe you can have a debate or conversation with a journalist as they thrive on reaction. Sorry but Les Reid is tuppence-halfpenny journalist who plays on people's feelings. I don't he is even a CCFC fan, like Eakin who supports Tranmere. IT'S THEIR JOB. The first thing people have to understand is WE DON'T PICK ON, OR ABUSE OTHER CCFC FANS, so stop cryticising each other. The media is 100% careless about our real plight. Les Reid is a reactionist which is, in my opinion, is not journalism. His job is to create a story. Eakin would be quite content to give up CCFC and concentrate on his beloved cricket, as with Foster with his ice hockey. The soon we stop fighting and start respecting each other the better. It's a loaded question designed to try and illicit a certain response. It doesn't seem to have worked. It's not the first time they've tried to create a certain narrative either, one wonders what effect they are trying to cause.
Exactly. You hit the nail on the headSo we don't pick on Cov fans, unless we suggest that they're not real fans in order to pick on them?
Not enough characters for the punctution anyway.

The annoying thing about Reid is how he retweets the tiniest bit of praise he gets but obviously isn't too happy when he is criticised.GREAT points. I think that Mr Reid does make some poor choices of words which can cause confusion.
I noticed that it would appear that he has signed the "Cov Back To Ricoh" Petition, so he could be described as supporting a view.
Then again so have the these people allegedly, for the following reasons, they have the most "likes".
J Seppela NEW YORK, NY
I fully endorse this petition. It is time that Ann Lucas & Martin Reeves told the Coventry public the truth. Keep up the good work Ms Sinclaire and Les Reid.
Timmy Fisher NORTHAMPTON, UNITED KINGDOM
I agree totally with Les Reid. Cov Council and ACL are totally to blame for this situation. Keep up the good work Les.
Justin D'Arce COVENTRY, UNITED KINGDOM
People of the stature of Les Reid and Nikki Sinclaire are not wrong. ACL / CCC are to blame for this mess and must be held to account. x
I do get the feeling that the above comments are not really the people they pretend to be. The way the petition is set up anyone could pretend to be anyone. I might be wrong. This is what causes a few problems for people. It is an example that of the sort of trolling happening on this subject. The individuals ideas are being twisted and hijacked by others.
The reason some have signed the petition appears to be because they think that Mr Reid and the petition owner is blaming ACL and the Council fully. it might be suggested by Mr Reid that it is their confusion not a sign that he is biased.
Much of the criticism towards Mr Reid is based on misinformation of others, and confusion of the words he has used.
I do question his choice of words, at times. The danger is that the press likes to claim neutrality, but writing a news story requires an opinion to express. The Neutral story is a boring read, a bullet point list of everything, by editing the list and fleshing out the points Mr Reid adds his own opinion. It is really hard to maintain a neutral approach in this way and I do feel he at times falls short of reaching that ideal.
The important thing here is that there needs to be a free press, but there also needs to be freedom to question the opinions of the press.
This thread is full of 'bile' and 'unbalanced comments' apparently according to mr reid - can anyone actually spot and reference any specific bile (as opposed to, you know, differing opinions), I'd like to know? Oh and don't forget this whole forum is 'led by ACL' whatever that means
And whilst you are at we want our 14 million back so we can keep some of our services we are having to cut.
Was anybody moaning when the cet were digging the dirt on sisu and finding out about them?

That IS being repaid with interest. And whilst you are at we want our 14 million back so we can keep some of our services we are having to cut.

IMO Is it because to attack CCC is easier as they have not threatened anyone with Litigation for things that have been said or might be said? :thinking about::thinking about:
It would be nice to think that both sides might be a little more constructive in their choice of words in future.
Mind you, peace in the Middle East would be nice too.....
Based on the latest statement, peace in the Middle East looks much more likely!
they are probably more reasonable over there too.
This is a difficult subject because I personally think that ACL did the right thing in rejecting the CVA. They did not agree with the administration process, which I think most of us will agree was not performed correctly, and therefore were obliged to reject the CVA in their own best interests.
This, however, does not mean I am happy with the points deduction. Of course I am not, but it is was almost inevitable given the situation and how flawed the entire process has been ever since SISU decided to boycott rent payments and stopped acting in good faith towards ACL.
