#Idowhatiwantfuckyou is creating a divide is it not?Am I missing a divide there? Is it the original posts?
That Alex fella preaching though.Gaz Powell isn't joining the boycott but says he supports anyone who does. Danny Nealon is boycotting but says he won't give anyone stick.
That's just people disagreeing.
Hasn't he written more below? People don't like being told what to do#Idowhatiwantfuckyou is creating a divide is it not?
Plenty more comments on just that post that can easily create a divide mate. My point is no-one will ever sing from the same hymn sheet, it just seems impossible.Gaz Powell isn't joining the boycott but says he supports anyone who does. You can if you are scraping a barrel. You can't really complain about grown men spitting dummies and then take a hashtag seriously.
I made the tweet, and the subsequent explanation for why I used the term, and have deleted the tweet.
The reason I have deleted the tweet is that it undermines the collective action of fans and is needlessly divisive. If I had known it would cause such offence I would not have posted it. The more united we are, the more effective our protests will be.
So I reiterate my apologies on this forum too. I hope that fans support the protests as much as possible.
(I was also a scab - I went to Northampton once. So not only was I needlessly divisive, but also a hypocrite).
I haveLad's apologised for the tweet, explained the scab comment, why not drop it now mate, let's all move on eh?
I love joy and Tim what are you all protesting about? While we have Curtis here, maybe we can make him look into our eyes and brainwash him to love SISU while we send some scouts onto social media for the next victim?
I'll await the abuse...
I love joy and Tim what are you all protesting about?
It'll never happen where everyone agrees 100%, but that's the case with almost everything. Disagreement can be healthy and respectful at the same time though, which is the preferable route.Plenty more comments on just that post that can easily create a divide mate. I doubt that more than a couple of hundred will bother to go up to the ground just to show they are boycotting, many may well boycott the game but will just stay away from the ground. I think a better option would be to suggest protesting for 10 mins outside and then go in, I think more people would attend the protest as they would be at the ground anyway.
I like Nick's suggestion of a scarf etc, get some with SISU OUT on, or a t-shirt with the names of people involved in our demise printed on, with boxes where you can allocate a % of blame to each party. Should be fairly cheap if done in bulk and raise some money for charity.
I am in the same boat as most in that I have a ticket already. I will join the protest outside and maybe stay there but I will see. Is this the Trust running this protest or is this the 'we hate SISU' group? If it is the latter I am less convinced personally.
I think people need to respect each others decisions here and not give abuse to people who chose to attend. The abuse that city fans received off their own at Sixfields was awful and I hope this isn't replicated at the Ricoh.
Personally I would like to see a walk out in the ground on one game. This would have a strong affect and very visible.
You're spending a lot of time on there lately GrendelThere's bound to be divisions. Woolyback on the CET said that soon the 5,000 sisu puppets who still support the hedge fund will soon be thanking all the nopm heroes that got rid of them. I suspect others share and will continue to share such a view.
He's a halfwit. However, I do find his rants amusing!Woolyback on the CET said that soon the 5,000 sisu puppets who still support the hedge fund will soon be thanking all the nopm heroes that got rid of them.
Lol, hilarious. Look at the state of the prick. I'll be going to the Rochdale game just as I'll be going to every home game for the rest of the season.
I've no doubt that this latest protest suggestion will turn out to be a damp squib anyway. They'll get bored after 5 minutes No qualms with what they're trying to achieve, I want rid of SISU as much as anybody but as I respect their views they should respect those who still decide to go inside the ground.
I wonder how many will have a change of heart if we win 3 or 4 on the bounce. Calling a fellow supporter a 'scab' is unbelievable.

So is it he is calling people a scab the main issue or what he stands for( which no matter of individual opinion he has a right) but calling him a prick, don't really matter. You are as bad as him and have stooped to the level that he started at.
We all need to stand together and if you want to go and watch the game you should be allowed to without ridicule and that rule should apply to all no matter of decision the individual makes. This is about the the club having a chance to improve which we all agree on needs to happen, how we get there may be different, but getting there is more important then any name calling or bullying in any form.
See my latter post apologizing to the individual in question following his retraction of the word 'scab',which was unwarranted and uncalled for. That was the reason I was riled, nothing more.
What he stands for is absolutely fine - which I went on to disclose in detail later on in the post. Again, I want rid of SISU as much as anyone but when I've paid considerable amounts of money to purchase a season ticket, I intend to watch each and every home game irrespective of how far we have fallen, as I have done for 14 out of the past 15 years. Someone having the audacity to criticize me for continuing a lifelong affiliation and hobby, by someone who has a separate agenda is not acceptable to me personally.
Thought at the time of Sixfields that the civic colours scarf idea was a good one. Why not go for it - didn't you get some prices Nick? Soz if already covered in the threadThat's why there should be a way to link people who do want to Boycott with the people who go in to show a bit of solidarity.
I mentioned things like Scarves at the time of Sixfields. It isn't going to change the world or get SISU out but if there was a charity scarf for example, and people are walking into the ground with them and people boycotting with them. There needs to be something that everybody agrees on, and it will never happen with a boycott so there needs to be ways to have people who do boycott, and people who don't to agree on something. That's why I suggested something to do with the legacy fund as judging by reactions on here, everybody agrees with that.
That's cov utd now thoughThought at the time of Sixfields that the civic colours scarf idea was a good one. Why not go for it - didn't you get some prices Nick? Soz if already covered in the thread
there's not, and I think people need to be mindful of this, especially when there is potentially another hedge fund waiting in the wings. We still don't know what will happen once getting rid, there's no plan out for that is there?
