Staying up was the only objective if I remember correctly?

In all seriousness, despite us getting our hopes up because of the great start to the season, with the cash he's spent anything other than relegation is a miracle for Pressley. Worry is now that it makes it easier for clubs to pick off our players.

Haha. At least we won't lose again if it's called off.

I don't get how so many games have been called off. It's only rained once or twice the last few days here in Colchester, and the Western Homes is brand new, yet they still had a waterlogged pitch. I don't know why it's an issue in the UK - we should be used to rain.

That's my point, we get in a position of success, then it fades, same old ccfc unfortunately :(

Not a good night for us ... showing our weaknesses and we must focus realistically, on avoiding relegation ... the promotion push is over.

It's always one extreme to the other with this club. Last season we had a massive squad and this season we can barely name a full bench.

I notice Barton's on. Surprised he's not gone considering he can't get in ahead of a 16 year old these days.

We have won 2 league games since start of December. That isn't form that gets you anywhere near playoffs.

I agree, a bad little run, and we could be in the relegation battle.

We've got mostly lower table sides left. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad one. We do at least tend to lose against the higher teams I guess.
