It happened on the island by the ramada. Nothing major. He was out the car holding his hands in the air(as if the bus driver was at fault) as we passed him.

Gave up on lameiras ages ago although i have always called him a wooly legged wanker and wondered why i labelled him this when i have nevet ever used that phrase before... all becomes clearer now with the taffy references

when he smashed millwall 4-0 away from home he scored and set up 2 for armstrong i think. thought he was gonna be phenomenal for us
and tbf hes not been bad, went throught period out the team this season so cant be easy to get form. i am not sure if robins will keep him though.

Our problem under Mowbray was too many talented but very young, inexperienced and physically underdeveloped players in the team at the same time
Then Slade went completely the other way by dropping almost all of them in in favour of hard working but less talented and less creative older journeymen
Only after the arrival of Mark Robins did we see the Goldilocks just right combination of the two
Some of the abuse on here for our young players trying to learn the game in the most difficult circumstances was counter productive but I suppose understandable
George Thomas has come through that with flying colours. I suspect that under Mark Robins a few others will too

Good analogy.
The difference for me, certainly last season, was that players (mainly the young ones), who had good games got dropped. Then others who were playing awful consistently retained their place. The team selections were often questionable.
O'brien - Maddison - Lameiras were our most potent attacking three. Armstrong had the pace, and those three had the brains to feed him. Combined with the hard work and closing down it was a really good system. Sadly though TM never stuck with it. If he had, would we have reached the playoffs? In my opinion yes.

Ah, you're probably making the tourist mistake of only using the road rather than the bus lanes and pavements (or dispatch-rider only lanes, as the latter were known in my days in the big city). Get a wiggle on granddad!
