Gillingham v Fleetwood has just kicked off. Eccles has started but Drysdale is out of the squad completely, had quite the shocker on Tuesday playing centre back according to Gills fans.

Good move again. Hopefully he gets some game time.Morgan Williams has gone back to Yeovil
The future is bright then?Brandon Mason is getting some game time at St Mirren. According to WhoScored he’s played left midfield and defensive midfield already
Eccles and Drysdale are in and out at Gillingham
Williams has played every game for Yeovil but they are still without a win and rock bottom of the Conference

Defo. Had high hopes for drysdale and Eccles. Has evans eaten them?In regards to Williams? He’s been there for a few games and his development is better served playing men’s football at a decent level than U23 which he’s played for a few seasons.

Disgusting challenge on Brandon mason
Glad he’s ok. Does anyone wish he was still here in case we revert to a flat back 4 regularly? When I watched it I thought it was a leg break. Horrendous (by modern standards).

Only way I can see him playing for us again is if we get relegated and have to cut the budget
We did. Maybe we want them to move away, grow up on and off the pitch? No idea tbhDidn’t we use to send are players to leamington? In the same league, has there been a fallout
So did Jack Burroughs (unfortunately it was an own goal!)Burroughs and young started last night for Gloucester. Won 7-1 I think. Young scored on debut
Always feel bad for him because he's such a lovely bloke and that playoff final goal but I've never seen a fullback who gets beaten to the byline with such simple regularity as Grimmer. Always felt he didn't get tight enough to the crosser because he was worried about getting beaten for pace 1 on 1 if they were to drive on goal.Apologies hijacking the loan thread with an ex-player. Loved Jack Grimmer, but oh dear, looking at the highlights from yesterday!

There's only really 3 things that can happen here:
View attachment 18023
1) That extra yard of distance he surrenders is then enough for a winger to either get the ball out of their feet and get the cross in
2) The attacker will waltz around him because Grimmer needs to take 2 strides to engage the ball if he wants to try and tackle and so the first stride telegraphs it and then he's easy to beat.
3) He'll get put on his arse anyway because the attacker has 2 yards to accelerate into vs Grimmer's standing start.
