Ha! Hadn't noticed that. Unhappy memories from getting locked in the Gym cupboard with the PE teacher?Really don't like his twitter name, SportsPeteO.
O'Brien's not up to it, so we'd need a half-decent reserve.Non league keeper, so altho we keep being told what a young inexperienced squad we have we look at a non league keeper.
I thought with the rumours of Burge leaving at the end of the seson we d be looking at an older experienced keeper. We ve
got O Brien and Addai.albeit it I ve not seen Addai play.
That's Burge off then
Probably LOB too, maybe 2 new goalies in the summer?
Very difficult to get a good consistent GK! Hopefully robins can get his recruitment right this summerHe's more likely to be a replacement for LOB rather than Burge. Although regardless both will probably be off in the summer.
sounds like a musical hall act. We've had a fair few keepers who have played like one.
2nd that, no point in throwing a young inexperienced GK straight into the number 1 shirt. Next season we need an experienced keeper for sureFrom the bits I’ve seen of the other goalie we have as well I would get shot of all three and bring in two decent ones

Wills will sign a new deal, got a good feeling as he is loyal to the club and will hopefully be Captain next season. Davis and Burge will be gone then hopefully more of the deadwood can be shipped off too....It's probably not far off if not as difficult as finding a consistent goalscorer. Hopefully he will but given the amount of potential outgoings that could depart, he's got a fair amount of work to do.

Should have a fair amount of wage budget for new players coming in with the departures in the Jan window too?
If we stay up of course :joyful:We'll see. I have a feeling he may he take the George Thomas route and see what's out there first before he thinks about committing to us. I don't want to be too negative obviously but if this happens I do fear it's likely not to work in our favour as if history teaches us anything we more often than not come second best in trying to convince our own star players to stay on.
Yeah we've saved a huge amount by offloading Clarke-Harris, Ogogo, Andreu and Doyle though so we should in theory have a healthy budget for next season.
I suspect Willis didn’t leave in this window to maximise his options and value in the summer. Probably very little to do with personal loyalty to the club.Wills will sign a new deal, got a good feeling as he is loyal to the club and will hopefully be Captain next season. If he does, I'll hold no grudge.Agreed. I'd be very surprised if he stayed to be honest as he could easily get a more lucrative contract elsewhere, even in League One. Maybe that's the pessimist in me though.

He stayed with us on the decline (when others left / had options to go) and has helped on the way up.
Obviously, like him to stay, but, that's the modern game.
Wish we’d go for experience!!
