Aye. You want your new back three to have as much time with each other as possible.considering the volume of players that we need to get in incl 3 centre backs , a right back, 2 strikers I would have expected more progress considering season starts in a month
I know you know this but for my own sanity I must say this, we reached the last kick off last season and the staff went on their holidays and returned to training today. We are a couple of weeks behind some and a month behind others. We will be ready.considering the volume of players that we need to get in incl 3 centre backs , a right back, 2 strikers I would have expected more progress considering season starts in a month
And yet Sisu were shit and only here for the money!
While they still found the funds for Vik and Hamer, even though the club was allegedly loosing around a million pounds a month. (And I'm no supporter of Sisu, but I'm yet to see much of an improvement since they left other than a bit of grass)
Doug needs to find the resources to put a squad together and fast. He's had his honeymoon period and the training ground improvements are welcome (if underwhelming). The fans have backed the club, as shown in record season ticket sales, now it's time to step up and deliver what MR requires.
You don't think Millwall are a bigger club than us, surely?
Trajectory:How are we measuring “bigger”? Club success and trajectory we’re by no means at all bigger than them.
Who was the last Robins signing to start his first possible game after signing mid season?
Some players hit the ground running like COH and others such as BNC take time to get going, don't think Tyler Walker ever got going. The problem when you are replacing so many players that are expected to start you need them all to be hitting the ground running.Who was the last Robins signing to start his first possible game after signing mid season?
tbf if you were bang to rights you'd want slowpoke on thereI probably speak for 90% of the forum who would very much hope neither of you were

Trajectory:
the path followed by a projectile flying or an object moving under the action of given forces.
"the missile's trajectory was preset"
a curve or surface cutting a family of curves or surfaces at a constant angle
Judging by our rise from L2, I would argue that our current trajectory exceeds that of Millwall?
Think we've picked up more trophies than them in the last few years, although I accept that they have a bigger 'firm' than us
Edit: I accept Millwall are a very well run club and have maintained a steady top half position in the Championship for the last 4 seasons.
For the record, in no way do I think it’s a step up either.
But you can always rely on Millwall to have a few projectiles heading in your direction?Trajectory:

Least we’ve kept Gus, he’s the signing of the summer.wasn’t through the lack of trying but wages and in essence clubs agreements ahead of us. very frustrating
Frustrating but we can find another McNallywasn’t through the lack of trying but wages and in essence clubs agreements ahead of us. very frustrating
Great pointSaid the same thing about Jake Clarke Salter, look how that turned out.

We will, possibly have, McNally good player but there are plenty as good or betterFrustrating but we can find another McNally
He’d be a very good signing, lcb who seems like he fits us perfectly, was rumoured to be in talks by Yorkshire Nealhaven’t heard anything on kitching. would take him but fee would be an issue. hes still got 2-3 years left on his contract.
We’ll just get some wonder kid from City or Chelsea, easyagree but Mcnally far superior than Jcs. finding a replacement on our budget for Mcnally will be difficult

Yeah I know, I reckon we’ll get that humphreys in from Chelsea maybe, maybe this Kitching tooEasy? And it’s not just 1. We need 3 cb’s. Man City we won’t get much from this year thanks to Leicester.
Humphrey’s is one that could be a goer. same agent as loans we’ve had in the past so a possibility.Yeah I know, I reckon we’ll get that humphreys in from Chelsea maybe, maybe this Kitching too
we continually sign really good players on loan, why would it be particularly hard to this year
