There are no rules to which football team you support, and nobody's being a gatekeeper about who can and can't support ours.
There's nothing wrong with supporting any team; what's annoying is when people who have picked a team because it wins every week then starts giving it the large one to die-hard supporters of other teams. That can fuck off. But some kid in Thailand or Canada with a love for Manchester United? Sound, I hope that they enjoy their support, in whatever form it takes.
And this kid supports Coventry City; he's hardly a glory grabber, is he.
I don’t have a problem with someone buy the tickets and giving them to friends and family.
People are only upset at this lad getting a ticket because it’s a massively oversubscribed game. If it was Hull away on a Monday night, I suspect less people would be so upset about it.
Me personally if it’s your ticket you should do what you want at home. but the club clearly beg to differ BUT away because points come into play. if you have no intention of going then it should go to someone else otherwise the points and tickets will stay the same for the top bracket

I'm 100% positive you and your group have had people tag along to away games that dont have points at all or enough points .using other people's tickets
