I never said that , we all have a shit time now and again. I remember when Ben Wilson got lampooned for weeks on end the became a hero at Blackburn.

At the start of the season, most thought we'd got a pretty deep squad and would be able to rotate, Where has all that depth gone, 4 injuries and we're fucked??

1. We have had lengthy injuries to players in key positions.

2. One or two players haven't progressed as maybe expected.

Sakamoto is a nice player, but we need better regardless of what league we’re in because the goals and assists from all our forwards could be better, barring Haji.

We need to replace Sakamoto

Comparing the narratives around Sakamoto and Simms, you wouldn’t have thought Simms has the same amount of goal contributions in less minutes.

9 goal contributions for a winger isn’t amazing (certainly not top end) and there are games where he is ineffectual. A brilliant role player and facilitator but he’s not a player you build a team around.

We need more from our forwards, particularly Simms, EMC and Sakamoto.
