Eccles played very well at RWB previously, how are we taking off our top goal contributor? You play a 3 of Sheaf, Rudoni and Grimes in the middle?

He’s had some good games as well as some average/poor games. Asking him to play that position after a significant spell on the sidelines is just not a sensible idea. Whichever you try to sell it.

After Wright and Rudoni, Sakamoto has 9 goal contributions… which is the most in the team (available players).

The issues against the lower teams in the division is more tactical than formation imo. We leave ourselves open to the counter at times and can be a bit hesitant to put the ball behind the lines and in the box.

As bad as Collins has been, I don’t think it’s bizarre to avoid crowbarring your third choice keeper into the side for the rest of a playoff run when your back four is already battered and bruised.

He isn't going to do it, but you start with 352 keep it tight, and then go back to a 433 when the game opens up.

He isn't going to do it so it's a moot point. We'll just play 343 with Grimes playing Centre back for most of the game anyway.

Not the best back 4 but if you match the Teams up we’ve still got the better quality, its all about which Cov turns up, the Sunderland/ West brom one or the derby/ Plymouth one, wer‘e getting a point at least. We’re not letting it slip this close

He’d need to change our approach to accommodate Wilson, who hasn’t played in months and is also a poor goalkeeper.

At this stage though, I can understand why a change would be better but neither of them are good enough and offering a new contract to Wilson was just stupid.

Well ferguson changed his first choice keeper for les sealey in a cup final replay because his other keeper kept making mistakes

They won and he made several good saves
