Robins wanted a lot of the players we have and the majority that he wanted have been proven to not be good enough, part of the problem lies with him, regardless of the amazing job he did. Hopefully Lampard can change this next season. If we fluke playoffs and go up great but we need a massive upgrade across the squad in the championship or the prem.
We won’t fluke the playoffs. I have lost all hope/faith in this team thanks to Collins and injuries to key players. Even if we made the playoffs we won’t make it past the semis whoever we play. Momentum is a big factor and we don’t have it. We’re not ready to go up and tanking the next game to plan for next season is what I’m thinking/feeling. Hate to say it after all we’ve fought to achieve so far.

He's fuming with the goal
"Doesn't want to talk about it"
Actually cut clive off quite abruptly when Clive said Brad Collins made some food saves.

Asked about the goal:

Lampard: "I don't want to talk about it"

What a fucking baby.

Think it was pretty obvious he was fuming with Collins, could tell by his other comments about him when he cut Clive off when he was on about Collins making good saves.

Surely there's something going on with Wilson?

We'll fluke the play offs if Collins doesn't play

First of all. It isn't over. Cup final next week, full house, punchers chance.

However ultimately taking off the blinkers, this isn't really a play off team. MR couldn't motivate them for a quarter of the season. Frank managed to galvanise them on a great run albeit hardly setting the world alight performance wise but we never really looked that great.

We have probably got all we can from this team in my opinion and hopefully we can make some changes and kick on next year

Feeling very flat and deflated. The players must too which is not great energy to bring into the final game. I think a point would have been okay to walk away with after an early red, certainly would have felt better mentally. I know they had a red and potentially we should have gripped the game but the players looked burned out after some serious defensive sprinting. Defensively strong on the most part. Collins played well for 90 mins (really well) and just a crazy lapse and as many predicted cost us the game. No attempt to get the ball just clattered Kitching. I’m aware we had the red today but there looks no real structure moving the ball forward, we don’t seem to have a plan. We’re desperate for corners, free kicks penalties anything to get us over the line. Really poor and I’m really concerned for next week.

It has to be said our strikers are not exactly firing on all cylinders right now either.

Id gladly not see Simms jogging around and half heartedly jumping to miss every header again. He ain’t good enough and/or doesn’t have the drive. Stealing a living. Wright at least got stuck in, won stuff in the air and turned his man a few times.

Collins, well, its all been said. Has to be our worst keeper in my lifetime.

Haha! Robins fault. Priceless.

Defeat was all on Collins.
Blaming Binks is harsh...the team had played most of the game with a player down, and they all must have been knackered.
If Collins hadn't have been such a clown, there wouldn't have been any issue with Binks, who had been decent all afternoon.
That said, Frank...you have to take some shit for that poor, poor selection.
Not for me. Collins and Binks had played well. The former created the chance for Luton so takes more of the blame - but Binks attempt was fucking laughable - embarrassing.
