It's a gamble & never say never but I struggle to see the potential personally.
I know Huddersfield have had great success in similar markets with the likes of Sorba Thomas but that was very different. Thomas stood out like a sore thumb with clear qualities that would pretty much guarantee him success higher up the pyramid. Hudlin was 3rd/4th choice striker at Solihull.
As I said previously, Huddersfield's plan with Hudlin is to loan him out to League 2 initially if they can find a suitable club. I'm not convinced he has enough about him technically to make that step let alone be a Championship player but it will be the acid test I suppose.
It's not quite the cheap punt you might suspect either, Hudlin has been given a very lucrative contract considering where he's come from.
