exactly what i am saying. both are gonna have great careers, moving worked for sancho,staying under pep will work for foden, both ways are beneficial in their own ways. idiotic for anyone to disagreeFoden (like Sancho) has the talent to have a glittering career with or without the influence of guardiola. I’m sure foden will learn from pep, Silva, de Britney etc but equally he would already be flourishing if he had moved away from Manchester. Some astonishing comments about both Maddison and Henderson. How anyone could have watched either of them play for us and not see international potential is baffling. In Maddison’s case, it needed all of 2 minutes.
If Turner’s right and we only get 10% of JM’s sell-on fee, and 10% of what Norwich receive for England appearances etc., it’s hard to swallow tbh. I’m certainly not rubbing my hands with glee at the “windfall”.

Maddison has to be sold as the club cash flow was critical. He wasn’t impacting results anyway and 10% of the sell on fee is of a fee that’s much higher because we had sold him
