He was 19 and only made 9 sub appearances coming on in the 89th, 90th, 79th, 78th, 84th, 84th, 89th, 79th and 82nd minute. Not sure how you can make a valid assessment on such a young player on those appearances.

He's scored 18 goals a season for the last two seasons.

I thought for a young nieve kid Madine did okay in his short spell here, seem to remember him coming on in one match and could have had a hat-trick in the few minutes he was on the pitch Looking at those stats above he played about 60 minutes in all so it's his form at Carlisle and Sheffield Wednesday that counts for me and he has done okay at both clubs. Also take into account we were total shite at the time.

Remember, there are a lot of supporters who doubted players like Baker/Wood etc would ever be any good.

When Robins arrived they were saying these players would be moved on.

Well I'm looking at a Baker who has hit the form of his life and you can't argue that Wood has done well in CB.

I'm sure if Robins sees fit to bring Madine here (based on wages etc) then we'll see a completely different player to the one we had here a few seasons ago!
