So surely it's better to maybe sell pies than definitely not at all?
By "being paid" I mean they take 85% of CCFC F+B profits, so it depends who's missing out from the corporate sales, CCFC or Compass. If it's CCFC, they may have told Compass not to bother about corporate. Like I said, I'm talking hypothetically. I await the full story explaining why this has come about

How do you calculate profit? Gross profit? How do you prove what was bought in? Whenever I had to pay a percentage, it was on turnover - dead easy and no arguments.

Depends on if CCFC have to pay on any losses? If Compass lost £500, do CCFC have to cover that loss as it's CCFC's event? (I'm assuming not, but I don't know the details of the deal)
Just seems odd that Compass would choose to lose out on potential earnings, when surely the money earned in the concourses offset the costs of running the corporate section on CCFC matchday.

I used to do corporate and didn't think it was worth it, so stopped a couple of seasons ago

When CCFC win, it's drinks on me, £500 on red, 7 home shirts, and maximum chicken cottage.
A loss, and it's a crate of lager to drown my sorrows
Mind you, the highlighted bit may be below corporate :sorry:

I think the point is lost here. It's not just about pies. It's about the match-day experience which is the worst I can ever remember. After a week at work we all need to unwind and look forward to the match at the weekend. Not anymore. There's always a drama waiting around the corner.

It is in Wasps interests for the CCFC corporate experience to be poor. It's all part of undermining CCFC and then they do their sales pitch about excellent corporate hospitality to former CCFC sponsors. I follow a number of companies or individuals on Twitter who were well known supporters of CCFC that are now all over Wasps. It was a well known tactic of theirs to actively contact former CCFC sponsors and corporate customers. Surely trying to entice someone to switch allegiance is easier if one offering is good and the other is crap??

Regardless of how we got here; the politics, the silly posturing, the huge mistakes made - we have to look forward. I hope and pray (as much as an atheist can), that someone takes the club on, and when they do they realise that the club needs a home, a proper home that feels like it's ours and where we aren't glorified squatters. Than can never be the Ricoh Arena, regardless of what deal they do to eek out a few extra % from pie sales. We need to move on, and wipe our feet on the way out.

I know that when the club were there first time around that they were being charged very high service charges on the utilities and phones. Way over what they should have been paying but had to lump it. Rumours were that ACL were inflating the costs. Also the club shop and offices was locked up by ACL after the last game of the season one year giving the staff no choice but to go home when they should have been open. Loads of dirty tricks gone on for a long time.
Didn't ACL get found guilty of overcharging rates? To the tune of £500,000. Think they were ordered to pay it back.

They could cut out the 'orange boys' (stewards), raiding the private doors to the food outlets @ the end of half time, that's gonna make them even more grumpy.
