Saw two grown men wearing utd tops on the way home, obviously off to watch "the big match". And I actually felt sorry for them, to be that age and still looking for something to be part of. Shame on their fathers.

Sometimes I curse the day my dad introduced me to the Sky Blues, but then if he hadn't that might have been me. So cheers Pa, you may be a miserable old fucker at times, but at least you brought me up Sky Blue.

Am I missing something here? They are not at home tonight and they support Utd - probably difficult to get a ticket even if they are season ticket holders and will be displaying their colours at a pub. I wish it were us but can understand why it isn't. Or is the post at them being too old to wear it? I wear my City one with pride and I'm 38. I probably look ridiculous at my age and with a beer gut but it's harmless enough.

Rob, I live in cov, as did these guys, I assume anyway. What are the chances of them being st holders at utd, what are the chances they are from Manchester? Slim I would have thought. I find that a little sad to be honest.

As for wearing your city top with pride, fair play to you, even though at 38 you should know better!

Were they heading to the Cedars in Coundon? There's a plastic manc convention in there when Manure are on TV.

I live in Warwick now. My neighbour is a ST holder at Old Trafford and he goes on a coach from Kenilworth that is full every week. I'm not saying they do too, just that Utd fans come in for stick as glory hunters and isn't always the case. I've been on the bus with them when we lost 4-2 up there. We were leading too (John Hartson I think) and they gave me pelters all around when they went ahead Grrrrr :( :)

I'm absolutely pig-sick that my son (aged 25) is a Manure Nited fan. Well, I say fan - he's never been to Old Trafford, he is a glory hunter and I've told him so! Ah well, I still luvs him!! :D

Beat him and beat him again!! Supporting manure is the easy way out. Tough love is needed here. Force feed him ccfc and life will be easier for him in the long run. :D

You haven't seen my son! He's 6' 6", over 15 stone and plays footie twice a week (he's a solid defender!). As an overweight, bolloxed-up heart, diabetic old fart, I wouldn't stand a chance so I let him have his plastic glory! :D

I first started supporting City around 86/87 kind of time, so I'm the world's most stupid glory supporter.

Heard the United fans singing "where were you when you were sh1t" to the Chelsea fans last night.

Wonder if they'd like to see my Sky Blue Magic video. It's got highlights from Cov at Old Trafford in the season that Man Utd were relegated. Oddly there are huge gaps in the Stretford End - mind you it was played in December so I expect they were all Christmas shopping!

Hey, quit being mean, they're TOTALLY NOT glory hunters! Their dad's uncle's cousin's best mate's dog is from Manchester, it's a family thing, duh!

We beat them at Old Trafford in 1989 (Gary Bannister) Attendance 29,000 I think? Makes there song slightly ironic!
