Agree, but the sad thing is right now the Ricoh isn't the main problem. I think its pretty much a certainty that the club is still making a loss despite not making a rent payment within the last year.

The Ricoh rent is an issue, but until the other 75% of losses are addressed then arguing about the Rent is pointless.

The club needs to sort itself out across the board.

If the club owned a stake in the Ricoh it would make a world of difference to the health of our finances

The balance sheet doesn't balance. Showing extra revenues from a stake in the Ricoh all adds up.

Agree there are other issues but the club has no income other than ticket sales and some shirts.

But the Ricoh doesn't make between £3-£5m a year.

Bottom line is CCFC could be given the Ricoh for free, allowing it to take all profits from the ground, and the club would still be at an operating loss.

It doesn't matter, revenue is the key, football clubs all lose money, when does the penny drop?

If the stadium and club were under the same ownership, with commercially astute managers so much could be made of the Ricoh. The non football activities should be making much bigger profits. The current CEO is starting to address this but is hampered by answering to bureaucrats who are happy making small profits and trundling on year after year.

But we already have a higher revenue than most in this division.

Also not all football clubs lose money, and even if they did, why should that stop us aspiring to have competant owners?
