Oh well, hopefully we can score a goal against Norwich tomorrow
That's an improvement on last season then!Feel a bit sorry for him, really isolated just running around
Were there any decent performances tonight?
This wasn't exactly first team.
Have we ever had a pre season where we lost every game?

Mansfield were alright.
Tbf it's been entirely different teams, loads of changes etc, not really the same as a standard line up not scoring. The end of tonight's game was literally kids playing.390 mins of friendlies, 1 goal scored 14 conceded.

05/06 was awful, I think we lost them all- Port Vale, Athlone Town- went on to finish 8th, following season we played 7 & only lost one, but ended up finishing 17th
Not saying things are great or terrible.. just that pre season proves nothing.
I remember that game. You are very right. I remembered going to the game against Wigan(?) first game of the season thinking we were going to get hammered. Can’t remember the specifics, but the 15/16 pre season was toilet as well. Convinced that we were going down when we drew 0-0 with Nuneaton and our big hope Adam Armstrong looked pants.
Sheaf has it under controlThank god for that, my worries are quashed
Mate I’m very worried. Just got £50 on us to go downBright sounded like he was the stand out then ?
Use that £50 that bright finishes the season with more goals and assists than O’HareMate I’m very worried. Just got £50 on us to go down
We didn't win a game that preseason and only scored twice in 6 gamesCan’t remember the specifics, but the 15/16 pre season was toilet as well. Convinced that we were going down when we drew 0-0 with Nuneaton and our big hope Adam Armstrong looked pants.
Well he does go through his bins
Bright still has it chaps, when he got on the ball he looked real quality. Made two Mansfield defenders look like Sunday league players on the touchline just after he came on.
‘Eh, three cheers for Mansfield!’
Although the results of friendlies aren't the most important thing, but surely conceding goals v lower league teams and not being able to score impacts on confidence ahead of the season opener?
@SlowerThanPlatt where is the game streamed tomorrow mate ?
