If we did this on a regular basis from now on, could we get a Zumba band and we could all shed a few pounds, have a giggle at the same time. Get the band sorted and I'm in.

I'm with Nick on this. Why waste your time going on a march from the Cherry Tree to the Ricoh tomorrow, when a much effective way to show you care about the future of this club is to stay at home and watch the game there using a vpn-enabled ifollow account?
To be fair, if people are doing that they are giving the club a bit of money at least ;)

Fully respect his iniative, but even if I lived in the U.K., I wouldn't participate in this one.
His statement, instead of recognizing that SISU are a huge part of the problem, claims that SISU are 100% the problem.
They don't have exclusivity in the rogues gallery.
Why don't people get more angry with the council and their callous indifference to the club? Why don't people condemn their failure to understand that Coventry City are less about SISU than the fans, team, history, traditions etc.
Why are Wasps allowed to get away with taking the moral high ground, when they upped sticks and left their home area to occupy a stadium built for a LOCAL football club?

Because, although we all hate the Wasps, they have actually done nothing wrong. Sisu were playing buggers with the stadium, and the council offered it to them.
If you were a landlord and had a tennant trying to sue you/claim damages, would you extend their lease ?
Nether would I

It's a good job the council aren't our landlord.

Totally agree, but I still respect him for making an effort.

Fair play to the lad wasn't happy as nothing happening so took it upon himself to organise this March.
Might not get many there but hey he's had a go.
Might sousa up there myself.

Hopefully it doesn't take away from what the Trust have planned at Luton where we actually have a chance of getting coverage.

Also, literally no mention of the other contributors to our mess. Beyond belief.

Actually, Wasps have done exactly what Sisu did only on a permanent basis.

Also, they are playing chicken with our club and by extension the people of Coventry, the city they now claim to represent. Whilst I understand their position on the legals I don't agree with their stance when they know the potential repercussions.

Agree, council have to answer a lot of questions also, but morally, not

Even then, im sure she isn't sat in Holbrooks watching people walk past to the game.

Don't people need to answer questions about morals now then?

How about a Mother Teresa quote just for you? "None of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful."
I'm not sure you a really understanding, are you?

It's a bit weird.

But I am, mate. I know abstract thinking isn't your strong point, but I'll repeat the Roy Chubby Brown quote: When you eat a tin of beans, you have no idea which one makes you fart. If you need me to spell out what that means, then your condition is worse than I thought.

So if the legal action is dropped or wasps do a deal we might not know if it was me shouting that did it?

I'm all about thinking, hence I'm pointing this out to you.

Where does it stop? Shall I write stuff on bus shelters, shall I do a sponsored swim? Maybe it would be those that make all the difference.

My condition is common sense. Sorry. Yours is your apt username it seems.

Just going to write sisu out 50 times before the game so when they eventually go I can say we don't know if it was down to me doing that. Maybe it is me walking to every game at the Ricoh that will have done it?

Except that the tenant would then have to find somewhere else to live.
On that argument I assume you would accept CCFC moving to another stadium

And off we go again. Someobe doing something to keep our plight in the news and this place turns into an arguement.
Eventually people will realise that "the plight in the news" we hear every time isn't the actual outcome needed.

I'm not arguing with anyone who does anything that might resolve our situation.

I'm taking issue with a specific line of reasoning.
In doing that I am not defending any of SISU's actions.
I just think that retaliating in a way that threatens the very existence of CCFC as we know it is a disproportionate action.

I thought I had got away from "it's not my fault he started it" when I left school nearly sixty years ago

So if the legal action is dropped or wasps do a deal we might not know if it was me shouting that did it? [No, that's right, we wouldn't know for SURE that it had no effect. You might have a neighbour who hears what you're shouting and decides to ask some questions and then ends up speaking to some people who can influence things. Or your wife, might call the Police, and the Policeman who comes to your house might have a brother who knows a man who knows a man.......and they get talking..........]

I'm all about thinking, hence I'm pointing this out to you. [You see the world in very simplistic black & white terms. There are lots of shades of grey.]

Where does it stop? Shall I write stuff on bus shelters, shall I do a sponsored swim? Maybe it would be those that make all the difference. [If that's all you're capable of doing, why not?]

My condition is common sense. Sorry. Yours is your apt username it seems. [The old abstract thinking difficulty again.]

Maybe it is me walking to every game at the Ricoh that will have done it? [Maybe, we'll never know, Einstein, and that's my fucking point. You have no idea whether what these people are doing will have any effect or not. You come across as trying to undermine other people's efforts to do something, while at the same time doing absolutely nothing, nada, fuck all, sweet fa yourself. That's why a lot of people see you as a SISU stooge.]

I have a great idea of whether this will make a difference. The same as I did about 7 years ago when I said the same thing and that it wouldn't work to get the end result.

Ah sisu stooge, original. I'd just like to point out that I've not been against action against sisu (have when it is against the football club though) yet people are strongly against any sort of action against them other parties. Why's that? Would they be Stooges?

I do see the world in simplistic and realistic terms, I also realise that of one method of something hasn't done anything after 20-30 times its pointless to keep doing the same. Why would you?

Let's get back into the realistic terms, it's more about self recognition and the plaudits than thinking it is actually going to do anything. The same as me writing sisu out over and over so I can then try and take credit when they eventually leave.

If a walk to the game suddenly makes everybody u turn and sort things then I'll be over the moon to be proven wrong and I'll be massively in the debt to the bloke who has organised it.

Put it this way, the whole "what have you done" is a bit pointless. I have achieved the same thing. (Aside from when groups have fund raised because they do have a good thing come from them)
