Seriously fella , give your coconut a wobble ffs ! he's a striker ... how many goals has he scored per ratio of games eh ? I couldn't give a Donkeys testicle if he's sets up this , that or the other . he's paid to score goals - he doesn't ! just another ageing has been . using up wages we can ill afford to waste. this train of thought , ah yes, he's trying is why we're where we are today ! time to get ruthless ! if , we have any ambition of reaching the higher leagues !

It is amusing that you say this yet your username is of a player who was an ageing immobile lump of lard who was exhausted by the time he had warmed up before the game had even started.

He has scored the same as Maddison.

Surely if he is setting other players up it counts?

Ever seen him play much?

If the handbags are back in the cupboard...

Tudgay has been useful. I'm happy he's still in the squad, he can also be really useful defending a lead as his defensive work rate is pretty good, gets on the end of opposing corners and always puts a proper shift in.
Might not be scoring for fun but useful to have on the bench should the time come. Or if the other boys are injured/away on internationals. Southend the common example used already.

And Burton....

After Armstrong and Henderson he's our next striker

Granted, Henderson has taken the second striker role. However before Henderson came in that was the necessary position that Tudgay filled, can't exactly terminate his contract and wages just because we bought in a replacement.

I really like Tudgay. He invokes a lot of cliches, all of which are true.

Puts a shift in, works hard for the team, has a working knowledge of the game, and never complains. It goes without saying that is a better option that Fortune, and remains to be seen if Darius is in any way superior. I really hope he gets another go before the end of the year. Let's not forget we beat Burton away with him in the side - just saying.
