Stats up-to-date for all 92 league clubs and 5 national teams at close of play on Thursday 25th October 2018Out of date. Number of games far too low
We'll dump him when we look close to getting into the Champions League.According to some research I read (but cannot remember where) typically managers are effective for up to 3 years and thereafter players lose incentive. Some notable exceptions to that. But even so if you look at someone like Mourinho or Hodgson it makes sense. So we have had 15 months so we are good for a while.

He's had more than 33 games and we've drawn more than 3 since he's been back. They are out of date or just completely wrong.
fair enough..i was just quoting what their website said...which seemingly is wrongHe's had more than 33 games and we've drawn more than 3 since he's been back. They are out of date or just completely wrong.

Yup, he inherited a very sick puppy. Can't blame him at all for when he took over that terminally ill side.anybody got easy access to stats since the start of last season as he cant be blamed for the relegation crap?
Its bollocks though, as there's 46 games in a season, plus we had 3 play off games and about 8 cup games Just last season yet the stats are based on 33 games in this spell.Stats up-to-date for all 92 league clubs and 5 national teams at close of play on Thursday 25th October 2018
Player boredom was only one factor - can't remember the others. But the time frame does fit with other high pressure jobs. New person comes in -> does the things they see need doing -> runs out of ideas (gets too fixed on their original analysis of the problem)That won't really count for us as our player turnover is massive. He will have the positive effect on our players over a much longer period if the average time a player stays with us is 2 years. We signed a lot of players on 2 year deals at the start of last season. Most of them will now only have 8 months left. Some need to be offered new contracts sharpish.

Well out of date.
His record in his 2nd spell is P88 W41 D16 L31. Win ratio 46.6%
Incidentally his combined record over both spells is P121 W58 D22 L41. Win ratio 47.9%.
The combined stats put him in 2nd place of most successful CCFC managers ever (where there is data available), behind George Curtis (50%) and above Eric Black (45.45%)
Perhaps thats why he brings so many players in every season to ensure that complacency does not creep inAccording to some research I read (but cannot remember where) typically managers are effective for up to 3 years and thereafter players lose incentive. Total 481 games - 114 draws (and 3 of those last 4 games could easily have been drawn). If stats are correct it's roughly 50% home wins, 25% away wins, 25% draws so parNot a big fan of a draw is he!
2) won JPT
