If he does go elsewhere don’t get any ‘good luck to him’ type messages.

He’s been to Ryton, met MR etc and then suddenly pulled the plug and moved elsewhere. He’s led us on and I don’t wish him any luck at all.

Regardless of if it’s a ‘no brainier’ as it’s more money, European football, nicer location etc, he’d have known all that before he went through the final formalities with us before signing.

I’m not even a bitter person, but it’s poor form however you spin it.

*I reserve the right to withdraw the above if he signs.

This is Rollheiser mk2.. everything agreed but the most important part.. getting the player to agree it himself. I think we have agreed a deal months in advance and Robins comments the other week about ‘only wanting players who buy into the project’ were warning shots to Stamenic. We will have known about this for a while..

Even excluding O’Brien they have a mere 6 other midfielders in the first team squad. What harm another couple I suppose

I read one of the Greek journalists on twitter earlier and he was saying that Olympiakos seem to think there is a strong chance they will have Stamenic for more than a year. In the context of the charges against Forest last season this type mockery of the financial rules infuriates me. Absolutely blatant cooking of the books.

I’ll be honest, viewing his highlights reels again, and other sources of his performances last season (and if he has indeed opted to go to Forest), we’ve missed out on a real talent, here.

This lad is the real deal, and will go to the top, if his development isn’t stunted in any way.

He can go fuck himself.

Don't usually bedwet over summer signings but this saga has fucked me off.

I get he has no obligations until he signs the contract but he's clearly just strung us along knowing full well he had no intention to sign.

Maybe it’s more like he seen our training ground and thought this is amateur stuff which is what Robins & King have been saying and that it needs upgrading to attract high quality talent. Might help speed things along if this is the reason which they know

There will come a time hopefully when we get to hijack deals like this just by being a top flight club.

Forest spending money on a player only to loan him out with their PSR problem reminds of Homer in the Simpsons when he is obsessed with zany schemes

Marinakis: The only antidote to a reckless transfer policy, is an even more reckless transfer policy!

Premier League: Why does it have to be reckless?

As for ‘bedwetting’, no, me neither. It’s irked me a lot, just on the fact he’s clearly a very, very good footballer, and would have been a brilliant addition to the team, yet he’s potentially chosen some vague PL ‘prestige’ with Forest over a promotion push with us.

Irritating, to say the least.
