Below is an email sent by Marlon King's agent/advisor in reply to an email from a disgruntled Coventry City supporter.

Dear Sxxxxx,

like Marlon said on SKY he waited for a 3yr offer for over 2 weeks! A written offer!
So you tell me how does that make us c***s sxxxxx?

Everyone in football supporters included knew his contract was up therefore Coventry should of acted a lot faster to secure his signature instead of anouncing his signing on the day they launch the new kit!

Your manager tried like f*** to get this done and still the club dragged their feet!
I have never responded to a fan before but your email is full of hate so i wanted to give you true food for thought!

By the way i didnt get paid by coventry they f***ing knocked me but it was worth it in the end after what marlon did on the pitch. PS Ady Bothroyd got a 3yr contract and got sacked after 6 months! LOYALTY

He has a point though about announcing his signing on kit launch day and not getting a contract to them...

At least he mentions Thorne trying his hardest too.

It does seem questionable, if only because you'd hope that a genuine agent in charge of careers, finance and communication would have a decent grasp of language.

And hes not registered as Marlon's agent so taking money would be against league rules.

Send it to Sepp Blatter - he wants to clean up football.

He's got a conviction for heroin possession, they make a lovely couple.

Well supposedly he was cleared and it was paracetmol... riiite!
Anyway congratulations to him for making himself and Marlon look even more stupid. Hopefully clubs can take note and be weary of these two.

errrr guys check out our own home page........ the "3" were offered contracts on or around 3rd May well over a month ago ...... if MK had been so desperate to sign he could have before going on holiday ...... (the holiday being the 2 weeks during which they didnt get the contract i guess).

I really doubt the validity of this email because surely any "agent" would stay well clear of any such confrontation..... but then MK was supposed to be a man of his word wasnt he on the advice of his "agent"

and dead right crowsnest he couldnt be paid - nothing to do with if ccfc wanted to or not- he isnt a registered agent

If it is real then it is so agressive and defensive that you have to think that it is that way because they have been caught out

My advice is put it to bed it isnt important anymore. It is history and we will be ok without MK and his advisor

This sentence proves how utterly fake it is. Someone has too much time on their hands and it ain't Mr Finnegan.

This alleged email is a great way to blacken (ahem) the name of King and his agent, it shows them to be mercenaries and the scumbags everyone thinks they are. I always supported Marlon during his time at the club and wanted him to stay, but you know....I'm glad it's dealt with and he's gone now. MOVE ON.

Cov Mad is a terrible site, seemingly eager to thrust forward the merest hint of negativity without any kind of substance. When the initial announcement of King's verbal agreement was reported they made sure to add to the article 'some say it is because no other club were interested'. That turned out well, didn't it?
