sadly its the way of the world and I think, like it or not, we have to accept that football along with other forms of entertainment no longer has much of a commitment to affordability and access for the less well off.
in many ways football is a long way behind and I fear they're going to try and catch up as quickly as possible. look at concerts by artists loved by kids, you're looking at £300 plus for a standard ticket and well over a grand for a VIP package that more often than not just means you get the better seats with some shit merch thrown in.
its not good but the genie isn't going back in the bottle.
