The “ who do we leave out “ question ….. how long have we prayed for quality in the team , especially across the front line & wow ….. let’s wait for the next influx of players , if / when Vik is sold & then …… the promised land might just be over that diminishing hill

At the moment Mason-Clark as we haven't seen him at this level and he has to win the shirt.

The other factor is after his nasty injury, will we see the same Saka? Back injuries can often cause long-term problems. Your back is central to everything, core strength, flexibility, even hips and legs can be affected.

I really hope for his sake that we see the same Saka. Lovely guy who during his rehab spent the time constructively learning English. Such a positive attitude generally.

I hope people make allowance and give him time but I doubt some will. Two poor games and I can see posters on here complaining. See the comments on O'Hare when he didn't set the world alight in his first couple of appearances this season.

Simples, you don't leave any of them out!

The midfield 4 is:- wright, Sheaf, Eccles, Sakamoto.
With EMC playing as a AM in front of Sheaf and Eccles, free to link midfield with attack.
And Simms as a lone striker.

This (of course) presumes no one else comes in or leaves, which is unlikely to happen.

EMC doesn’t strike me as an AM at all.
Ya I'd rather him on left and we try wright and Simms upfront with saka right in a old school 442

Or try wright or Simms on right side and keep it a 3

Or crazy as it sounds lol rotate between the 4(hopefully 5 by time summers up) for 3 spots. It's a long ass season!

Id rotate too and I suspect Robins will, maybe throwing all four on when we need a goal but otherwise making sure the likes of Saka and Wright don’t burn out. One bsck from a long injury and the other will have played through the summer.

Agreed. We still need one more winger and a striker also I think.
