They can't sack him. In the eyes of the law he hasn't done anything wrong. He hasn't been found guilty of anything. It would be wrongful dismissal. They would have to pay his contract up.

My job was advertised externally. It went down to a shortlist of 3. A temporary worker had applied. His experience gave him a good chance. But a few weeks before the final interview stage it came out about theft and stalking an ex. He denied it saying it was someone else with the same name but a different age. They took his word for it. He got the job.
The next week he was in court. His ex didn't turn up. Case dismissed. Not guilty in the eyes of the law. They wanted to get rid of him but it would have been very dodgy with employment laws. He was supposed to spend my last 6 months with me training. I refused to train him. Had to go to a meeting. Told them to sack me or put me on gardening leave. Couldn't sack me. So they put him elsewhere.

This is a poor take, or you're trolling. The only reason Greenwood isn't going to jail is because the woman who he committed the offences against doesn't want to provide evidence and testify as he's the father of her child. Have a quick search on Twitter and you'll see and hear what he did in 30 seconds.
