Decent stats. 15 goals in 76 appearances in past 3 or 4 seasons, mostly in League 1 as defensive midfielder and in PFA League 2 team of the year in 2015 playing for Accrington. Any real substance to the rumour, other than he was a former player under Mark Robins?

Yeah not overly sure about the source. It's clear the link is probably from the Twitter page "League One Transfer Rumours". It has just claimed we are monitoring Grimsby's Dembele and has also recently linked us with Jonathan Forte....
seems to me it's most likely taking their info from non-substantiated rumours on here...
My thoughts exactly. Rumours start here, end up on the CT, then seem to snowball from there
If it wasn't for rumours on here, the CET wouldn't have a sports desk! They honestly wouldn't know what to write about next!

Can we ban the quotation or use of the twitter account 'John Harriot - Football Agent' on here? It's well known as being a troll twitter account and people quote him on FB as being a legitimate source and this troll seems to mention CCFC quite a lot.
There's lots of accounts out there like this. They tweet 20 rumours a day, then when one comes in, delete the other 19 and then tweet 'told you so - insider info' and suckers on the Cov Fans Forum start to value their rumours and then the next thing we've got a 5 Things You Need To Know About Potential Signing Yerda Selzavon on the CET Website......It's the same craic with 'insider bookies' accounts on twitter.
We can then finish the riot he almost created at their place a couple of years ago.......................
