Mentality is so key to sport.

Blows my mind when I hear people like that nob on the phone in after yesterdays game going “professional footballer should be able to take a bit of stick”. Like psychological toughness is part of the academy process and they’re not just normal people with normal brains.

You don’t know what players are going through, why risk harming the performance of your own team. Staggeringly stupid.
