The Cayman Islands.
Matty Godden has been a great servant to the club and still feel he will play a part and score a few more this season, We should all ensure he gets a great send off at end of this season just in case he has been fantastic for us like Liam Kelly has been through the upwards journey.

When a legend leaves another one is born. Thanks for the memories Matty Godden. 😍

Don't think Matty will be in a hurry to leave unless he gets a financial incentive, as he is still in contract.

Need a better backup striker. Someone to throw on last 20 against tired legs. That’s where Ipswich have done well this year. People like Broadhead and Al-Hamadi coming off the bench causing problems.

Doesn't seem like someone who is happy to sit on the bench so I can't see him being here next year at all.

The whole thing for me was how he was berating anyone who dared to take a shot rather than pass to him at the start of the season, that wasn't being a team player and it pissed me off. He is a bang average championship player who has done really well for us and I thank him for that. It seems like he backs himself to lead the team to the premiership and I don't buy that at all. It's a thanks for everything and good luck in your future endeavours from me!

Bang average in championship
No way is his goalscoring bang average. Many of his appearances have been from the bench. He's been a great servant for us and doesn't deserve the stick he gets from certain posters.

Would be an astute signing for a Championship side that played to his strengths and could do with experience up front. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he scores an important goal or two for us before the end if the season.

Any striker berates players in those situations. Look at Gyokeres.

He’s defied expectations at this level in reality

In fact, Gyokeres was far grumpier with teammates than Godden.

It’s pretty odd that him and O Hare have had pelters regarding in goddens case how he celebrates and o hare for not being bothered

They’ve dug us out of the trenches in L1 and in establishing ourselves in tbe championship

Our 5th highest goal scorer ever. Scored some huge goals for us, especially in the promotion season. Deserves more respect IMO.

He can’t be 5th highest can he?

Gyokeres had every right to as he'd often make a good number of chances in a match and even he wound his neck in towards the end in my opinion. As I say he isn't a bad player at this level but if you want to be promoted you need better when you look at all round play and availability to be picked. His goalscoring is decent but generally he isn't the player I'd look to if we need to be dragged back in to a game by the bootstraps.
