Im sure FIFA rules state a player cannot play for more than 2 clubs in one season in official matches......dmc played for forest in their league cup loss to Wigan just before he joined us so surely he cant play for anyone else this season? meaning its either stay with us or rot out in the forest reserves till the summer?

Good find! I think this is true but it may be in the same division and maybe even just premier league. Someone check quick

I think it's actually they can't hold a registration at more than 2 clubs in a season, I.e one club (a) signs them in July but then sells them to club b in August, club b then sells them to club c in the January transfer window - that's not allowed.

Some players are constantly on loan moving around.

Just checked and yes it's no more than 3 clubs in a season regardless of signing or loans.
