Yes - the Cheltenham lad seems to be having a cracker of a season. I was saying on my way to the game today, that - whether League1 or League2 - I have a feeling it may be the season for Jordan Ponticelli to really shine. If we don't go up and McNulty goes, I really do think JP will be a ready replacement for him.

It seems sensible that Ponticelli is the like-for-like.

Anyway, I'd rather our players were in demand and we were worried they were off, then nobody taking the slightest bit of interest in them!

Shoot me for being optimistic but..... IF we go up this season, there is no doubt McNulty will be with us next year and if we add a couple to this squad (maybe a keeper and left back along with a few squad players) we will be in with a serious chance of promotion from league one next season.

I would say most our players who signed in the summer would have a promotion wage rise inserted into their contracts - so as it stands the players know what their salary would be next season if we go up (a good enough incentive if you ask me). Then I'd imagine it will be dependant on how they/we perform next season if they sign new deals.

I'm just glad we won't have another summer of a complete turnover of players this summer.

Think he could leave if a decent Scottish club were interested doubt it would be Rangers or Celtic but a club such as Aberdeen, Hibs or Hearts might turn his head.

He scored a hatrick on sat so now we've had 7 articles about his contract, him moving back to Scotland his club next year, stop it! Increasing speculation in March is not going to help anyone for our run in, only cause issues. Did the same with nazon in fucking September when he scored back to back asked him if he would extend his loan. It's September, utterly embarrassing.
