Yes - I don't live there anymore.
The coffee comment was a joke clearly but having lived in it for a large part of my life I find it a depressing, concrete reminder I guff disaster that is 60's architecture.
I will assess my life as a personal failure of I do not move a considerable distance away before my demise.
Before you get all hissy with me this does not mean I want the team to play away from coventry. I don't I want them back and then that would be one thing I like about coventry.
Again if they did spend the Wilson money this would be a smack in the mouth for Kcic and nopm surely? If they do no it means they need this to use to subvent losses. Must be what you want while still at sixfields surely?
Its not a valid question.

So frees then.
I wish we'd signed the bloke from Harrogate town for a fee. Would please noggin.
you realise that "free" isn't a quality of player? if we had never left the ricoh we would be signing players of much greater quality and that were much less of a risk even if we weren't paying a transfer fee for them.
it's like trying to have a conversation with a four year old.
Off the top of my head I can immediately think of 2 clubs that achieved promotion to the premiership by signing loan players.
What percentage of loan players make up an average league 1 team do you think?
What genuinely annoys me in here is that people like you whine about if but so not attend sixfields. Surely this is what you want and expect - a poorer squad if loans and free transfers due to the effect of the boycott.
So your argument is; we'd have first pick of those players nobody else wants. You really think we'd be that much better off? We can dream.
yes I really believe we would be much better off, there are a large number of players that go on a fre
e, Grendel even made a post about how it was the majority in our league, so yes being one of the most attractive clubs to come to in the league and being able to pay decent wages would be massively preferable to now where we are one of the least attractive clubs in the league and paying low wages.
I moved away a while ago,I do miss the old place and will always be a radford lad but now I can step from my back garden on to the beach live off interests and don't pay no tax, so tim if you read this forum and forgiving the fact I have wished death and injuries on you many a time, please build the new stadium in Channel Islands!!off topic, and a little controversial, but here goes....
I was born in coventry, with be CCFC till the day i die, but come on, its a woeful place. Couldn't wait to get out when I was 18
Look at the top 10 resturants....

6 indians and 4 cafes !, hardly cosmopolitan is it !
We don't do promotion.
No but we do an excellent line in relegation.

Noggin that's a clear insult to 4 year old's:claping hands:
Indeed. Twice in 51 years is it?
Do you think Freddie Eastwood is 1.4 million times the player Leon Clarke was.
I have to say I have my doubts.
And guess whose stewardship they came under. Just in case you can't work it out it was your beloved sisu.
I have my doubts about your maths
A more relevant question would wages, transfer fee is more about how much the club want to keep a player rather than their ability.
Well Clarke would have to cost £1 for the maths to work. Eastwood was on a reported £10,000 a week there is no argument that can support noggins comment actually.

Are we honestly counting this as a good signing??? Come on the lads record is bloody terrible at every club he's been at and we're honestly meant to be excited?
I hope the comments come back to bite me on the arse but I suspect he'll score a couple early on and then disappear just like he has at all the other clubs.

He made 34 appearances in Bournemouth's promotion season (probably not all up front) so he must have something about him. He gives us another option as well so I'll reserve judgement. Hope he surprises a few people.
McGoldrick, Clarke and Moussa shite records before joining...
McGoldricks record compared to this guy was way better as was Clarke's, don't forget we signed Clarke after he had been scoring for Swindon. That said I hope he proves me wrong and the usual people can dig up these posts to rubbish any future points I make in the future.
McQuoid is a winger aswell, which may explain his poor goalscoring reord.
A) The lad although called a striker, has played most of his games on the wing
B) Clarke was scoring goals for Scunny
He made 34 appearances in their promotion season from league two and didn't hit double figures, at our current level he didn't feature, like I said I hope he proves me wrong but my gut feeling is he won't
McQuoid's 34 appearance were in the League 1 promotion season for Bournemouth. In his previous season in League 1 for Bournemouth (admittedly 4 years ago) he scored 9 in 17 games. I admit I am also fearful about our lack of goals but McQuoid has shown ability in the past so lets not right him off straight away.
Fair point the 34 were in league one and nine goals ain't bad for a winger things are looking up after all.........nah scrap that this thread has got far to football based he loves fisher and Sisu are are to blame I heard on the grape vine they killed Bambi's mum.
Seriously I hope he turns out to be Pele but I still think we are seriously short on quality in front of goal and I don't think this lad is the answer.
