Would tend to agree.
SISU win, doesn't stop them being immoral loons.
CCC win... doesn't stop them being immoral loons.
Basically we're still caught between two sets of nutters, whoever wins!
I agree, but I believe it comes down to motives.
...
is why I am SISU all the way on this one and hope Anne get a p45 swiftly after.
I agree, but I believe it comes down to motives. SISU are a hedge fund who's premise is to buy low sell high etc. CCC are supposed to represent the people of this City sporting or otherwise. They also have a CEO who professes to be a fan. To the point when we signed Marlon King she stated she would not go to the Ricoh while he was playing (she is never there it was a political football for her to kick).
When CCC made the decision it was 100% personal and a very visible two fingered salute to SISU and specifically Joy Sapella who Anne had met and not warmed to. Therefore CCC went out their way to prop up a loss making business so it could be sold to an investment firm on the cheap but just not CCFC. This move apart from being questionable, pandered to the franchise model of sport that often disregards fans interests while also damaging the major sporting club in our City.
We of course can stand on our own two feet but having a Council so inept as CCC that can fall asleep on issues such as the train fiasco to name but a few is why I am SISU all the way on this one and hope Anne get a p45 swiftly after.

Yes defeat for Lucas would be a fitting end to the dire oligarchs rule and contribution for destroying sporting tradition in Coventry.
Yes, because the council aren't just as bad are they?
Well no, they're not. They had every justifcation, in law and morally, do prevent SISU from taking over the Ricoh. I'd have done the same 100 times out of 100 if I was in charge of the council. Some fans on here seem to think that the CCC owed the City a free stadium...utter delusion.
Those laws you mention might well be to the benefit of people in general...rather than beneficial to the wealthy via feeding the economy over & over.[h=2]Leaving the EU would give us more control of our own laws and regulations[/h]
The UK currently has very little influence in the EU. It’s incredibly difficult to make changes, and we’re consistently outvoted in the EU Parliament. The same applies in the Council where the UK says "No" to EU proposals more than every nation but one.
- Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg are responsible for more than half of the UK’s legislation.
- The UK government was taken to court 23 times for failing to implement EU law between 2007 and 2011.
- UK influence inside the EU is dwindling. We currently have Less than 13% of the votes in the EU Parliament – when we first joined, we had almost 20%.
- The top 100 EU regulations cost the UK economy £33.3 billion per year. Since 2010, the EU has introduced over 3,500 new laws affecting British business.
- The EU has passed over half a million pages of law since its inception in 1957.
More worryingly, EU regulations are transposed into UK national law without passing through Parliament - regulations which have proved incredibly costly for British business.
Leaving the EU would free Britain up from the masses of red tape dished out by Brussels, saving billions of pounds across UK industry (which in turn would mean lower prices for consumers).
What is more, it would give Britain back control of its own laws, which would ensure that our national parliament remains a genuine, legitimate and democratic force. The UK is one of the world’s oldest democracies, with a robust and mature legal system. Consequently, we believe that we should be free to have the final say over any laws that are implemented in our country.
I see you have read Tim Fishers blog then ?
Yes but you would prefer a result in court over promotion, so in not sure what you would do is really surprising. That's not even a coherent sentence.

The same as somebody opening a bottle of bubbly over it... Very weird.I find it hard to believe anyone could prefer a court victory to promotion. Unless it was some sort of victory that would set us up for huge success in the long term then, as a football fan, why would you prefer it over a successful season.
I want Britain to be full control of Britain. At the minute we don't. Always going to be pros and cons but I'm swaying towards OUT at present.

If the court outcome gave us messi or automatic promotion I'd be willing for that!

I think it was more a case of balloon tying as opposed to anything being pelted Nick.

My predications for today are.....
1. Council cleared of any wrong doing
2. SISU look to appeal to 4 senior judges
3. Telegraph to run with "5 things we didn't know about a judges wig"
4. And we do it all again in the Autumn

*Follow all the action as spun by Simon Gilbert. For an alternative view which is rather less Council-biased, try the Observer or follow Les Reid on social media
Annoyingly can't find anything on Bet365.

That's great, I will give it a look. I take it Les covers it in a neutral way, with no spin
